Trafalgar Tours wins top industry award
Escorted touring specialist Trafalgar Tours has won one of the travel industry’s most prestigious awards.
Trafalgar Trafalgar beat off contenders to win the the Rail, Road Or Sea Operator Of The Year prize in the TTG Travel Awards, run by the industry’s leading trade newspaper, Travel Trade Gazette.
Lucy Huxley, editor of TTG, said: “We had a record number of entries this year, demonstrating the resilience of the travel industry in this recession, so any firm which has won an award can feel very proud. Entrants are rated by the travel agents they work with, before being judged by panels of industry experts. Winners truly deserve to be named the best in our industry.”

Judges for the awards include managing directors and chief executives of some of the biggest names in the travel industry, including Abta, Thomson and Virgin Holidays, in addition to leading figures from the worlds of commerce and retail.
This year’s winners were announced at a spectacular ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel on September 22.
