  • Description: This full path through Europe, with a focus on Italy, covers all the essentials – Paris, Venice, Florence, Rome and Pisa – but takes you off track to see hidden history in Siena. It's Insider moments like… taking a walk with a local Italian who knows Florence's cobbled streets like the back of their hand. Pointing out their favourite haunts, they unveil the story of the Medici family, who found fame and fortune in Florence. Ask for a restaurant recommendation and they'll proudly tell you about the city's countless culinary classics. Cold Italian meats, unsalted bread, 'fiorentina', also known as bistecca (or T-bone steak), it's lucky you have free time for dinner before leaving for Pisa and Venice the next day.
