DAY 1: THURSDAY 23 MAY 2013

ARRIVE LONDON (6 NIGHTS)

Explore the city of London, stroll through one of the Royal Parks or visit one of the world famous historical attractions, London has plenty to keep you entertained. Later, meet with your Travel Director and fellow companions for a traditional English pub Welcome Reception.

DAY 2: FRIDAY 24 MAY 2013

LONDON – CHELSEA FLOWER SHOW

This morning, transfer to the famous Chelsea Flower Show! See magnificent floral displays, model gardens, English garden tools and a host of garden structures and artifacts. This afternoon a transfer back to your hotel is provided.

DAY 3: SATURDAY 25 MAY 2013

LONDON SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME

See Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace on your half day introductory sightseeing tour with your Local Guide. The rest of the day is at leisure.

DAY 4: SUNDAY 26 MAY 2013

LONDON - EXCURSION TO HAMPTON COURT PALACE

After a relaxed morning, this afternoon visit Hampton Court Palace, the most modern, sophisticated and magnificent palace of its age. Lose yourself in the most famous Maze and visit the Privy Garden, restored to its former glory.

DAY 5: MONDAY 27 MAY 2013

LONDON – FULL DAY AT LEISURE

Today you are free to explore the city on your own. Shop for fashions in the West End or pop into the most famous toy store in the world – Hamleys on Regent Street – or take a day trip to Windsor Castle. 

DAY 6: TUESDAY 28 MAY 2013

LONDON - EXCURSION TO WISLEY GARDENS

This morning, travel to the memorable gardens of Wisley. Renowned as the flagship garden of the Royal Horticultural Society, Wisley captures the imagination with richly planted borders, luscious rose gardens and the state-of-the-art glasshouse.

DAY 7: WEDNESDAY 29 MAY 2013

LONDON – CHARTWELL – HEVER CASTLE – ASHFORD (2 NIGHTS)

Enjoy a visit to Chartwell where Sir Winston Churchill lived. Now owned by the National Trust, the house and gardens have been beautifully preserved. Later, visit Hever Castle for a Small Group Sightseeing experience with the gardeners to see these award-winning formal gardens. 

DAY 8: THURSDAY 30 MAY 2013

ASHFORD - EXCURSION TO SCOTNEY CASTLE AND BIDDENDEN VINEYARDS

This morning visit Scotney Castle, a 14th century moated castle surrounded by one of the most romantic and picturesque gardens in England. This afternoon travel to Biddenden Vineyard - Kent’s oldest commercial vineyard.

DAY 9: FRIDAY 31 MAY 2013

ASHFORD - MOUNT EPHRAIM COUNTRY HOUSE - CANTERBURY – DOVER - EASTBOURNE (2 NIGHTS)

This morning, visit Ephraim Country House to enjoy a delicious Be My Guest Cream Tea before starting your visit to the historic English cathedral city of Canterbury. Parts of the city have been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You will have free time to explore the city before travelling to Dover for a Unique Insight into the White Cliffs of Dover.

DAY 10: SATURDAY 1 JUNE 2013

EASTBOURNE - EXCURSION TO BRIGHTON

After a leisurely start, enjoy a drive along the coast to Brighton. “The Lanes” form a retail, leisure and residential area near the seafront, characterised by narrow alleyways following the street pattern of the original fishing village.

DAY 11: SUNDAY 2 JUNE 2013

EASTBOURNE - SHEFFIELD PARK AND GARDEN – BLUEBELL RAILWAY - KEW GARDENS - LONDON (1 NIGHTS)

Travel north to Sheffield Park and Gardens. The National Trust acquired this property in 1954 and the garden is comprised of four large lakes and a variety of rare trees and shrubs. You will then enjoy a ride on one of England’s most famous steam trains – the Bluebell Railway. This afternoon, enjoy an included visit to the stunning UNESCO World Heritage botanical Kew Gardens.

DAY 12: MONDAY 3 JUNE 2013

DEPART LONDON
