You can take this suggested itinerary – a spiritual journey through majestic Portugal, Spain and France. Stay in touch with your inner-faith, beginning with a tour of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Hieronymite Monastery, in Portugal’s capitol, Lisbon. Continue into Spain where you can soak in the wonder of Burgos’ Gothic Cathedral, a site dedicated to the Virgin Mary with its stunning architecture. Finish on a high note and join in a sparkling torchlight procession to the Basilica in Lourdes, France, a town where the water is said to source miracles, attracting pilgrims from around the world.

DAY 1: ARRIVE LISBON
Welcome to Lisbon! Here, see the hilltop St Jorge’s Castle, the Cathedral with its blend of architectural styles, and St Anthony’s Church. Finally, see the Hieronymite Monastery – a house of prayer for seamen leaving or entering port - and admire views of the Belem Tower, built to honour the expeditions of Vasco de Gama.
DAY 2: LISBON – SANTAREM – FATIMA (2 NIGHTS)
Travel north to Santarem for an orientation tour and pay a visit to the 13th century Eucharistic Miracle shrine in the Church of the Holy Miracle. Then continue to Fatima for dinner at your hotel.
DAY 3: FATIMA
After breakfast, visit the Fatima Village Church and the Tomb of Jacinta and Francisco, two of the young children who received Marian apparitions. The remainder of the day is yours to explore Fatima.
DAY 4: FATIMA – SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA
Travel north to Santiago de Compostela, the final destination of the “Way of Saint James”, one of the Apostles of Jesus. Enjoy an orientation tour and visit the Cathedral of St James, the largest Romanesque church in Spain and home to the relics of St James.
DAY 5: SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA – BURGOS
Travel inland today to Burgos for an orientation tour and visit to the Gothic cathedral, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to the Virgin Mary and famous for its vast size and unique architecture.
DAY 6: BURGOS – LOURDES
After breakfast, travel through Northern Spain to the pilgrimage site of Lourdes, where Mary is said to have appeared eighteen times! The water that flows here has served as a source of many healings and miracles and attracts pilgrims from around the world.
DAY 7: LOURDES
This morning visit the Basilica and Boly Mill, the birthplace of Bernadette – the young girl who saw the apparitions of Mary at the grotto.
DAY 8: LOURDES
Enjoy a morning at leisure before lunch at a local restaurant. This afternoon is yours to explore Lourdes on your own.
DAY 9: PARIS
Depart Lourdes and take the TGV to Paris. On arrival, an orientation tour of the city includes a visit to the Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. It is here where the Virgin Mary is said to have appeared to St Catherine Laboure in 1830 and asked her to have a medal struck – which is today known as the Miraculous Medal.
DAY 10: PARIS – EXCURSION TO LISIEUX
Travel to Lisieux, home of St Therese, “The Little Flower of Jesus”. Here visit the Basilica built in her honour after her canonization, and also Les Bussionnetts, her family home.
DAY 11: DEPART PARIS
Say goodbye to your fellow travellers at the end of this Iberian Miracles experience.
