DAY 1: THURSDAY 19 JUNE 2014
ARRIVE DUBLIN (3 NIGHTS)
The morning is yours to explore Dublin, Ireland’s famous capital. This afternoon, enjoy a guided tour of the National Botanic Gardens. Founded in 1795, the gardens are home to over 15,000 species of plants, ranging from exotic flowers to native shrubs. This evening return to the hotel for a Welcome Reception, with your fellow travellers and Travel Director.
DAY 2: FRIDAY 20 JUNE 2014
Head to the home of the Royal Dublin Society, for the 11th World Flower Show. Its first time in Dublin, you have the full day to experience the sights, sounds and smells of this floral odyssey, as 600 flower arrangers from 31 countries create incredible displays with flora from around the world. This evening is free to explore the city of Dublin, from the hallowed grounds of Trinity College to the buzzing nightlife of Temple Bar, with its many pubs, bars and eateries.
DAY 3: SATURDAY 21 JUNE 2014
DUBLIN, COUNTY WICKLOW, DUBLIN
Known as one of the most beautiful gardens in Ireland, we journey to Wicklow County’s Powerscourt Gardens, set against the stunning backdrop of Sugarloaf Mountain. Designed and created over 150 years, the gardens’ 47 acres are home to over 200 varieties of trees, shrubs and flowers. This afternoon venture onwards, for a Unique Insight into the home and garden of the queen of Irish gardeners, Helen Dillon. Admiring the exotic mix of plants, you can learn about the art of gardening from Helen herself, asking questions and gaining inspiration from one of the world’s best gardeners.
DAY 4: SUNDAY 22 JUNE 2014
