  • Description: Rome, Florence and Venice. The country's cultural capitals are brought to life in a journey by high-speed train through the vibrant centre of Italy. It's Insider moments like… being transported back to the 14th century by your Venetian guide as he leads you through the maze of streets to the ancient Rialto fish market, your ears ringing with the shouts of stallholders and the crunch of ice on shining scales. Marvelling at the variety of fresh seafood on display, the scent of salt in the air follows you onwards to the Bridge of Sighs, to hear the story of Casanova, and imagine the prisoners' final laments.
