Day 1 to Day 2
DEPART CANADA
You will fly over the international date line on your way to Sydney, Australia.
Day 3
ARRIVE SYDNEY (3 NIGHTS)
On arrival in Sydney you will be transferred to your hotel. Enjoy free time
explore this beautiful city. Perhaps take a walk down to the historic Rocks
district and Circular Quay, for views of the sparkling harbor. You could
stroll through the Royal Botanic Gardens to the Art Gallery of New South
Wales which houses permanent and visiting collections from Australia
and around the world. Why not take a trip to Sydney’s beautiful Northern
Beaches including Manly. You’ll travel over the Sydney Harbour Bridge
to Milsons Point for the best possible photo opportunity of the Sydney
Opera House. See Sydney’s white sandy northern beaches including Curl
Curl, Harbord and Freshwater before returning to the city. This evening
meet your Travel Director and traveling companions for a Welcome
Reception.

Day 4
SYDNEY SIGHTSEEING
This morning enjoy a tour of the Sydney Opera House with a Local
Expert. Later, board your coach to see the Royal Botanic Gardens,
Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, Watson’s Bay and the Gap. Our destination
is famous Bondi Beach for an iconic Australian experience. You’ll be
greeted by a local surf lifesaver before a Be My Guest lunch at an
Aussie institution, the Returned Servicemen’s Club, with its views over
the Pacific Ocean. Your host will take you on an exclusive tour through
Australia’s oldest surf lifesaving club to learn about the history of Bondi
and surf lifesaving. When you return to the city you’ll cruise on the
glistening water of Sydney Harbour then you’ll have the opportunity to
discover Australia’s national gemstone – the opal. Or if you want to see
Sydney from above, take the climb of your life with the Sydney Harbour
Bridge ‘BridgeClimb’.
Day 5
SYDNEY AT LEISURE
Spend a free day in Sydney seeing the sights of your choice. Or
perhaps take an excursion to view the Three Sisters in the Blue
Mountains and Jenolan Caves or an interesting trip to Canberra,
Australia’s capital. Or travel to the Hunter Valley, New South Wales’
premier wine growing region, for a wineries tour.

Day 6
SYDNEY – ULURU (AYERS ROCK) (2 NIGHTS)
You will be transferred to Sydney Airport for your flight to Ayers Rock.
Late afternoon you’ll travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness
and photograph the striking color changes of Uluru at sunset while
enjoying a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Day 7
KATA TJUTA (THE OLGAS)
Rise early this morning to experience sunrise at Uluru (Ayers Rock).
Watch the first rays of dawn set Uluru and the Red Centre alight.
Travel by coach to the base of Uluru (Ayers Rock). Your guide will escort
you on a walk to the Mutitjulu Waterhole, indicating the natural features
of the landscape, Aboriginal rock paintings and traditional Aboriginal
stories relating to this special place. Visit the Uluru - Kata Tjuta Cultural
Centre. This afternoon travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), 36 massive
domes of red conglomerate rock. The walking trail through the
Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek bed between two of the tallest
domes. Later, enjoy complimentary sparkling wine as the sun sets at
Kata Tjuta (the Olgas).

Day 8
ULURU (AYERS ROCK) – CAIRNS (3 NIGHTS)
Take time to relax this morning before you are transferred to the airport
for your flight to Cairns. The rest of the day is free to explore on your
own. Stroll along the Esplanade then browse the night markets and the
Pier Marketplace.

Day 9
GREAT BARRIER REEF
Encounter unique Australian animals at the Cairns Wildlife Dome.
Later, board a high speed catamaran for an unforgettable day on the
Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy a reef education presentation by a Local
Expert. Snorkel in the underwater paradise with its colorful coral and
tropical fish and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment
provided). Visit the underwater observatory and watch the marine life
glide by plus take a ride in the semi-submersible vessel. Enjoy a tropical
buffet Highlight Lunch before returning to Cairns in the late afternoon
for an evening of free time.

Day 10
CAIRNS AT LEISURE
Enjoy a full free day in this tropical city. Perhaps take a ride on the
famous Kuranda Railway for a breathtaking journey to the village of
Kuranda with time to stroll through the market. Return to the lowlands
by the Skyrail Cableway above the Barron Gorge National Park,
a beautiful experience. Visit the award-winning Tjapukai Aboriginal
Cultural Park. Experience the History, Creation and Dance Theaters
where the legends of the Dreamtime are brought to life. Or if nature’s
your thing, you could take a trip to Cape Tribulation. Catch a ferry
across the Daintree River and visit the Environmental Centre then take
a closer look at life from the Rainforest Canopy Tower. There’s time to
walk along Cape Tribulation Beach before lunch in a rainforest setting.
Later cruise through the mangroves along the Daintree River and visit
Mossman Gorge. This evening join your Travel Director and new-found
friends for a Farewell Dinner.

CAIRNS - CANADA
This morning after breakfast you will be transferred to Cairns Airport for
your flight home (flights anytime).
