  • + BORROMEAN ISLANDS ISOLA BELLA PALACE TOUR A private launch takes us to the world-renowned islands of Lake Maggiore. We see the Isola Madre, the Isola dei Pescatori, and on the Isola Bella we visit the palace of the Borromean princes.

  • + LAKE CRUISE AND MOUNTAIN TRIP We board our private launch for a leisurely cruise past elegant villas and gardens. Afterwards we will have the exclusive private use of a funicular carriage for a sensational trip up the side of the mountain to the most spectacular spot on the entire lake, the resort town of Brunate.

  • + TOUR OF LAKE GARDA This is by far the best way to appreciate the largest of the Italian Lakes! We drive along its scenic shore and stop for snapshots of many of the pretty resorts which have made this lake so internationally renowned. Admire the lush vegetation and marvel at the limpid blue waters as we cross the lake, visiting several picturesque and historical towns around the lake.

  • + VARESE AND SACROMONTE Varese is a delightful city, located on the border with Switzerland. Visit the Estense Gardens and later enjoy wonderful views from Sacro Monte, which is a UNESCO world heritage site. We end with a tour of Varese's main sights and monuments, with free time for shopping and relaxation.

  • + BOLZANO THE DOLOMITE MOUNTAINS This excursion will take us along the beautiful Adige valley northward to the bilingual town of Bolzano, capital of southern part of the Tyrol. Here we will have time to shop in the elegant arcaded streets. Later, we take a cable car to the top of the Renon and then continue on a ride on the century old "Tramvai" a unique form of transportation for all the villages in this area. We will enjoy incredible panoramas from this famous mountain plateau. Finally a spectacular drive past hills and mountains terraced with vineyards brings us back to our hotel on Lake Garda.

• MILAN

  • + TREASURES OF MILAN With a local city guide we visit some of this bustling city's most famous sights. First we enter the impressive Castello Sforza - today one of the country's most important museums, where we see the 'Pieta of Rondanini' by Michelangelo among other great works. Then we continue to the world renowned 'La Scala' opera house and museum. (Should either La Scala or the Castello be unavailable, there will be a visit to the remarkable Museum of Milan.)
