  • Description: Criss-crossing the north, this trip fuses fairytale châteaux and vineyards in the rich Loire Valley with the chicness of Paris and the poignancy of standing on Omaha Beach in Normandy. It's Insider moments like…. seeing the sights of Paris with a Local Expert before visiting Honfleur, a pretty port immortalised by Monet. Picturing the royalty that once graced the turreted châteaux of the Loire Valley, and stopping at Chenonceau – our Local Expert shows you the fairytale castle's contoured gardens and elegant architecture, and its arched feet straddling the River Cher. And being welcomed into Château de l'Aulée by the Henrion family, who have lived here for five generations, to sample wine and local delicacies.
