    Welcome to Boston! Get settled at the Omni Parker House, an Authentic Accommodation. An Historic Hotel of America, the Parker House was frequented by some of the brightest minds from the Golden Age of Literature—Emerson, Thoreau, Hawthrone and Longfellow. Generations of local and national politicians—including Ulysses S. Grant, Franklin D. Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy, and William Jefferson Clinton—assembled for private meetings, press conferences, and power breakfasts here. Set out on your own to spot some of Boston's historical sites before gathering at the hotel at 6 p.m. with your Travel Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.

Then stroll among the clapboard houses, visit the blacksmith's shop and see the local school of Sherbrooke Village, a meticulously re-created lumber town from the late 19th century.     Cross back over the Northumberland Strait, this time by the Confederation Bridge, an eight-mile-long engineering wonder. Back in New Brunswick, head out onto the waters to learn about the art and science of lobstering, then enjoy a lobster Highlight Lunch aboard the boat (weather permitting). Back on land, visit a local winery for a Local Speciality tasting of their famed fruit wines before ending your journey in Moncton, originally settled in 1766 by Pennsylvania Dutch immigrants.

    MONCTON – HOPEWELL ROCKS – SAINT JOHN

    Get out your Guinness Book of World Records this morning and join a Local Expert to visit the magnificently eroded Hopewell Rocks in the Bay of Fundy, site of the world's highest tides. Then it's on to another natural phenomenon to see the roiling waters of the Reversing Falls in the St. John River from a scenic viewpoint.
