  • Description: Gentle in pace, this trip allows you to discover some of Europe's prettiest towns and cities, stunning scenery – like the lakes and falls of Plitvice – and the shores of Hvar Island. It's Insider moments like… walking down a quiet path, lit by lanterns of flickering candles, into a humble 'konoba' to dine with a Croatian family. In a rustic isolated village, they cook your dinner the traditional way, under a clay bell. The flavours of the veal or lamb are unique – but so is the setting, overlooking the Adriatic on the idyllic Hvar Island, where you are staying for three nights. Welcoming you into their quaint stone walled tavern, which has limited electricity and running water, they share their simple island life.
