  • AMALFI

    • + AMALFI COAST AND POSITANO EXPERIENCE We travel by exclusive transport, passing delightful villages and spectacular scenery along the incredible Amalfi Coast to Positano, this most celebrated town, as well as a Unesco World Heritage site. There will be time to shop for the famous local clothing or ceramics or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine in a cafe overlooking the beach.

    • + DINNER ON THE AMALFI COAST A short drive takes us to a restaurant in a stunning location. Here we enjoy local cuisine and Neapolitan hospitality in elegant surroundings. Drinks included.

    • + VISIT TO RAVELLO We travel by coach and minibus to the balcony of the Amalfi coast. Ravello, famous for its annual music festival is perched high above the terraced groves from which the views are breathtaking. With our local guide we will enjoy a visit to the gardens of the Villa Rufolo, which inspired Wagner, as well as free time to stroll, or visit the 11th century cathedral.

    • + CAPRI HIGHLIGHTS Amazing views are in store as we tour the famous 'jet-set' island of Capri. Our excursion includes a cruise around the island to view the famous Faraglioni rocks, and a visit to the villa of Swedish author Axel Munthe, whose gardens are rated amongst the finest in Europe. Private mini buses take us to Anacapri (top of the island), a photographer's dream. (In the event of bad weather a light lunch in a local restaurant will replace the cruise.)

  • VENICE

    • + CANALS OF VENICE An unforgettable introduction to this unique and magical city! We cruise along the Grand Canal by private water taxi, admiring the magnificent and elegant palazzos. We see the Rialto Bridge and then reach 'the most beautiful outdoor drawing room in the world', St Mark's Square. Later during your Gondola Ride, you will glide along the picturesque smaller canals, sipping Italian champagne while a duo of musicians entertains.

    • + LAGOON CRUISE WITH LUNCH OR DINNER Take some time off the beaten track! We are taken by private boat to the nearby islands in the lagoon of Venice. See the island of Murano where the glass blowers live. Lunch or dinner is taken at the picturesque 'Island of the fishermen', Burano, famous for its multicoloured houses and a photographer's paradise. Drinks are also included.

    • + MAJESTIC VENICE Explore hidden parts of the maze of streets which make up this unique city. Your local guide will give you fascinating insights into Venice's past and present, through the eyes of a local. A visit to the majestic basilica of St Mark reveals some of its treasures. Behind closed doors we will view some of the prized trophies looted by the Venetians in their rise to power, or alternatively we will visit the outside terrace for exceptional vistas of this remarkable city on water.

  • FLORENCE

    • + FLORENTINE DINNER WITH ENTERTAINMENT Sample the flavours of medieval Florence, during an evening of good food and music at a distinctive historic venue. (Subject to availability).

    • + VISIT TO SAN GIMIGNANO We drive to the nearby hilltop town of San Gimignano, the 'medieval Manhattan' of Tuscany. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers, vineyards and olive groves, this is Italy's best preserved medieval city and will give you an excellent idea of daily life in Italy during the Middle Ages.

  • ROME

    • + MAGNIFICENT ROME Cameras at the ready for the magnificent sights awaiting us. With our local guide we will discover the many delights that Rome has to offer. These can only be truly appreciated by wandering slowly through the labyrinth of narrow streets and beautiful squares which have developed over more than 2000 years, creating an amazing legacy for us today. The Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain are just two of the fine monuments en route. Later you will have free time to eat at the Trattoria of your choice in one of the piazzas.

    • + ROMAN EVENING WITH DINNER A light hearted evening in Rome. We will relax and enjoy a typical Italian meal (drinks included), while live musicians entertain us.
