ARRIVE NEW YORK CITY (2 NIGHTS)
Welcome to New York City! Check into your hotel and spend the afternoon relaxing from your travels or doing a little exploring of this great metropolis on your own. Your holiday begins with a special Harbour Cruise Welcome Reception. At 5:30 p.m., gather with your Travel Director and fellow travellers to board a boat for an insider’s introduction to one of the world's most captivating cities. During a relaxing voyage through the beautiful harbour enjoy stunning views of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline.

Day 2
NEW YORK CITY SIGHTSEEING
Take a bite of the Big Apple today on a tour of the city's highlights with a Local Guide. See the towering Empire State Building and expansive Central Park, designed by renowned landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. This afternoon, sample the tastes of New York on a food-themed Local Speciality tour of a city famous for its edible offerings. The evening is yours to enjoy—take in a Broadway show or just explore the bustling streets, soaking up the atmosphere of "the city so nice they named it twice."

Day 3
NEW YORK CITY - NEWPORT
Spend the morning wrapping up your New York stay with some time on your own. Then head for New England and travel up the coast to the city of Newport. Step into the Gilded Age here, once the destination of choice for the Vanderbilts, Astors and Carnegies—the titans of industry. Today, this beautiful seaside town offers history aficionados a wealth of architectural landmarks and entertaining stories of life among the 19th-century rich and famous. See rows of mansions along Ocean Drive before touring the Breakers, the 70-room Italianate palace Cornelius Vanderbilt called his "cottage." This evening, enjoy dinner with your travelling companions.

Day 4
NEWPORT - NEW BEDFORD - CAPE COD/HYANNIS (2 NIGHTS)
Continue your exploration of New England with a stop at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Walk the scale models of the whaling ships and see the skeleton of a whale up close. Following New Bedford, take a guided bog tour at a cranberry farm, a New England Local Speciality. This evening, arrive at Cape Cod in Hyannis. Settle into beach life with a local Highlight Dinner.

Day 5
NANTUCKET SIGHTSEEING
Ferry from Cape Cod to the picturesque island of Nantucket. Upon arrival on the island, embark on a tour with a Local Guide. See the cobblestone streets and quintessential island cottages; the icon Sankaty Head Lighthouse that stands at the eastern end of the island; take in the pristine sandy beaches, diverse outdoor attractions and historical and cultural draws—the artists' community and other one-of-a-kind boutiques. After spending some time on this island paradise, head back to Hyannis.
Day 6
CAPE COD - KENNEBUNKPORT - NORTH CONWAY
Head inland toward the pretty town of North Conway on the edge of the White Mountain National Forest. Stop in the town of Kennebunkport before finishing your drive through scenic New Hampshire to North Conway. This afternoon, traverse the White Mountains. As you make your way through forests of sugar maple, mountain ash and white birch, keep your eyes peeled for some of the wildlife that call this area home. This evening, get acquainted with the local flora and fauna during an engaging presentation by a Local Expert.

Day 7
NORTH CONWAY - ESSEX JUNCTION (2 NIGHTS)
Today is a day to savour the foods of New England. Head across the landscapes of Vermont and sample the flavours of this region at each stop. First, visit the Cabot Creamery, a family-owned farm producing a variety of cheeses. Observe the process before sampling a few varieties of the Local Speciality for yourself. Next, visit a cidery producing apple cider, also a Local Speciality, and learn about the craft. And, of course, a tasting follows! Finish your culinary tour of Vermont with a stop at Ben and Jerry's, the ice cream makers whose funky flavours have taken them from one Vermont store to a world-wide name. They originated here, making them your third Vermont Local Speciality, and you will see where it all began along with a sample of a few favourite flavours. After a day of tastings, arrive at your resort.

Day 8
ESSEX JUNCTION FREE TIME
Enjoy a day on your own. Choose to take advantage of your resort's outdoor activity offerings. Set off on foot or on bike to catch the sights on a nearby trail or head into downtown Burlington to capitalize on the cultural scene. This evening, gather at the resort for a cooking class. After crafting your meal, dine on the finished product with your fellow chefs at a Highlight Dinner.

ESSEX - BOSTON (2 NIGHTS)
Make your way to Morse Maple Farm for a tour and tasting of a famous Vermont Local Speciality, "Sugar on Snow." Travel back across New Hampshire and stop at Moonlight Meadery and learn about the production of mead—wine made from honey—crafted exclusively from wildflower honey. Feast on a Be My Guest lunch comprised of local New Hampshire ingredients served alongside your sample of mead. Then head to Boston, one of the oldest cities in the United States. From lobster to Paul Revere’s midnight ride, Boston has plenty of claims to fame and plenty to see, taste and experience.

Day 10
BOSTON SIGHTSEEING & FREE TIME
Embark on a fascinating city tour and become immersed in "Beantown." With several stops along Boston's famed Freedom Trail, you'll hear all about the struggle and courage of the American colonists during revolutionary times. Then view the colourful neighbourhoods of Back Bay and Bunker Hill. The rest of the day is yours to visit the waterfront, stroll the Harvard University campus or get to know the locals in a friendly pub. This evening, gather with your fellow travellers for a Farewell Dinner.

DEPART BOSTON
Your tour comes to an end with a transfer to Boston Logan International Airport.
