    ARRIVE AUCKLAND

    On arrival in Auckland you will be transferred to your hotel (flights to arrive prior to 1pm). See the sights of Auckland on a city tour. This evening meet your Travel Director for a Welcome Reception at your hotel and dinner at the top of the tallest structure in the Southern Hemisphere, Auckland’s Skytower at Orbit, a revolving restaurant with 360 degree views of the city.

    AUCKLAND – ROTORUA (2 NIGHTS)

    Travel to the Waitomo Caves to see the incredible Glow Worm Grotto on a boat tour with a Local Guide. Continue to Rotorua to experience the Realm of Tane, a dramatic blend of a guided tour, character theatre and cultural storytelling, followed by a Maori Hangi Be My Guest dinner accompanied by local wine and a concert at the Tamaki Family Marae.

    ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING

    A Local Maori Guide will accompany you around the Whakarewarewa Living Thermal Village, where you’ll gain an insight into Maori culture. See New Zealand’s biggest geyser, bubbling mud pools and thermal springs. Your next stop is Rainbow Springs Nature Park for a tour with a Local Guide. You may even spot a kiwi! Then visit the Agrodome Sheep Show, the multi-award-winning stage show, for a taste of farm life.

  • Day 4

    ROTORUA – QUEENSTOWN (2 NIGHTS)

    This morning you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Queenstown. On arrival explore the historic gold mining village of Arrowtown on the Arrow River, previously one of the world’s richest rivers, before an orientation tour of Queenstown and surrounds. See Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables Mountain Range and the home of the Bungy Jump at Kawarau Bridge.

    QUEENSTOWN AT LEISURE

    A free day to do as you choose in New Zealand’s adventure capital. Why not take a day trip to mystical Milford Sound? You will travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau and its lake then through the rainforest of World Heritage Fiordland National Park, sighting glaciers and mountain ranges. Travel through the hand-hewn Homer Tunnel to abundant photo opportunities afforded by the Mirror Lake, Pop’s Lookout, Cleddau Valley and the Chasm, en route to Milford Sound to board your cruise for an unforgettable experience.

  • Day 6

    QUEENSTOWN – MELBOURNE (2 NIGHTS)

    You will be transferred to Queenstown Airport to board your flight for Melbourne, Australia. On arrival you are transferred to the hotel. This evening is free to explore this cosmopolitan city.

    MELBOURNE SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE

    See the Royal Botanic Gardens, Queen Victoria Market, the Shrine of Remembrance, Parliament House and much more on a sightseeing tour. The remainder of the day is free so you may consider an excursion to the Penguin Parade on Phillip Island.

  • Day 8

    MELBOURNE – CAIRNS (2 NIGHTS)

    This morning you will be transferred to Melbourne Airport for your flight to Cairns, Queensland. Visit Rainforestation Nature Park for lunch. Experience indigenous culture and Australian native wildlife in a World Heritage listed rainforest setting. At the Pamagirri Corroboree you’ll witness a traditional dance performance. Try your hand at boomerang throwing, observe spear-throwing and watch a Pamagirri Guide play the didgeridoo. Visit the Wildlife Park to see native Australian animals including kangaroos, koalas and crocodiles.

    GREAT BARRIER REEF

    Board a high speed catamaran and cruise out to the Great Barrier Reef. Enjoy an informative reef education presentation with a Local Expert. See a myriad of coral and tropical fish from the underwater observatory and the semi-submersible craft. There is the opportunity to go snorkeling and view this natural living wonder up close (equipment provided). Enjoy a tropical buffet Highlight Lunch before you return to Cairns.

  • Day 10

    CAIRNS – SYDNEY (3 NIGHTS)

    You will be transferred to Cairns Airport for your flight to Sydney. On your arrival in Sydney you’ll transfer to your hotel in the center of the city, where the remainder of the day is free. Perhaps take a stroll through Darling Harbour or wander down to the historic Rocks district at Circular Quay for a panoramic view of the Sydney Opera House.

    SYDNEY SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE

    This morning enjoy a tour of the Sydney Opera House with a Local Expert. Later, board your coach to see the Royal Botanic Gardens, Mrs. Macquarie’s Chair, Watson’s Bay and the Gap. Your destination is famous Bondi Beach for an iconic Australian experience. You’ll be greeted by a local surf lifesaver before a Be My Guest lunch at an Aussie institution, the Returned Servicemen’s Club, with its views over the sparkling Pacific Ocean. Your host will take you on an exclusive tour through Australia’s oldest surf lifesaving club to learn about the history of Bondi and surf lifesaving. Return to the city for a cruise on the beautiful harbor. Then you will have the opportunity to learn about Australia’s national gemstone - the opal.

  • Day 12

    SYDNEY AT LEISURE

    Spend a free day in this exciting city. Why not take an excursion to the famous Blue Mountains and see some of Australia’s native wildlife at Featherdale Wildlife Park. You could visit the Hunter Valley, New South Wales’ premier wine-growing region? Or perhaps take an interesting trip to Canberra, Australia’s capital. Gather together this evening with your Travel Director and new-found friends for a Farewell Dinner at a local restaurant by the water.

    DEPART SYDNEY
