  • Description: The urban hubs of Edinburgh and Glasgow. Legends and lochs. Castles and country. This leisurely look at Scotland covers the essentials – but still has time to stop for a 'wee dram' or two. It's Insider moments like… being greeted by the father and son farmers of a working hill farm on the banks of Loch Ard, as they approach in traditional dress. Hearing them recount the stories of Rob Roy MacGregor, the outlaw and hero who roamed this region, they share their contagious energy, Scottish pride and homespun dishes, eaten as you hunker down together in their barn. An active farmstead, every experience is slightly different; one day you could be playing with sheepdogs, the next helping them feed new-born lambs.
