    After checking in at your hotel, why not explore the city of London? Whether you stroll through one of the Royal Parks, shop in the vibrant West End or visit one of the world famous historical attractions, London has plenty to keep you entertained. Later, meet with your Travel Director and fellow companions for a traditional English pub Welcome Reception.

  • Day 2


    This morning's sightseeing tour with a Local Expert features the capital's most famous sights. See Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Buckingham Palace. Spend the rest of the day as you choose. You might like to explore Hyde Park, stroll through Kensington Gardens, visit the Natural History Museum or take a cruise on the River Thames to the Tower of London. Perhaps finish with a West End theatre show!

  • Day 3


    Your trip on the ultra-modern high-speed Eurostar train from London's St. Pancras Station to Paris is exhilarating! Delight in the scenery through Kent and Northern France en route to the glamorous capital. This evening, get to know your companions and Travel Director with dinner at your hotel.

  • Day 4


    Admire panoramic views of the city from the second level of the Eiffel Tower. Drive along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe on your sightseeing tour with a Local Expert. Discover the delights of the city on your own this afternoon or perhaps enjoy an optional experience to Versailles. This evening consider a night at the most famous cabaret in the world!

  • Day 5


    Another opportunity to explore the city and take in some of the most incredible museums in the world. Otherwise, you may consider taking an optional experience to Giverney, to visit Monet's House and discover the beautiful gardens which inspired him to paint his famous impressionist paintings. This evening you might like to try some French cuisine in a typical Parisian brasserie.

  • Day 6


    Drive south towards the capital of the Burgundy wine country, past the Côte d'Or vineyards of Gevrey-Chambertin and Nuits St. Georges. Arrive in the medieval town of Beaune and enjoy free time to explore the central 'old town' within the walled city. Tonight enjoy a magnificent dinner in a Michelin starred restaurant with wine.

  • Day 7


    Cross the border into Switzerland where the alpine scenery is simply breathtaking. See beautiful Lake Lucerne and walk across the 14th century wooden Chapel Bridge. View the emotive Lion of Lucerne during your afternoon orientation.

    Today is yours to shop, relax or take a mountain optional experience up spectacular Mount Pilatus!

    Travel the scenic St. Gotthard Region through the Alps and cross the border at Chiasso into Italy. Catch a glimpse of the Italian Lake Region, a popular retreat for aristocrats since Roman times. Arrive later in Venice, Queen of the Adriatic. Enjoy a relaxed dinner at your hotel this evening.

  • Day 10


    Savour the unique sights of Venice as you cruise by private launch to St. Mark's Square. See the Bridge of Sighs, Palladian Churches, Customs House, Grand Canal, St Mark's Basilica and the ornate Doge's Palace. Watch the Venetian craftsmen at work creating a Local Speciality at a glass-blowing workshop on Giudecca island.

    Free time is an opportunity to visit the Fine Arts Academy, simply relax at a café on St. Mark's Square or consider a boat trip to the Island of Burano for a delicious seafood meal.

    This morning visit the fair city of Verona, the home of Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers for a walking tour with a Local Expert. Enjoy views of the Roman arena and savour the bustle of this picturesque city. Travel on to the city which is home to the Renaissance movement – Florence for a three night stay.

  • Day 13


    Learn about Florence's artistic heritage during a walking tour with your Local Expert. See the multi coloured Duomo and the Piazza della Signoria. View Ponte Vecchio, one of the city's most famous landmarks. Enjoy panoramic views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo. Spend free time shopping for high quality leather and gold and consider an optional experience to the Fine Arts Academy to see Michelangelo's 'David'.

  • Day 14


    Cross the Arno Valley to Pisa, a former maritime city on the Ligurian Sea. In the Square of Miracles, home to some of the city's most famous sights, see the incredible Leaning Tower and the beautifully sculpted marble Cathedral. See the Baptistery and the cemetery, built on soil brought from Calvary in the Holy Land. Later return to Florence and spend free time shopping for souvenirs. This evening consider enjoying a meal at a nearby villa.

  • Day 15


    This morning drive a short distance to San Gimignano - the picturesque UNESCO World Heritage town with medieval walls and towers in the province of Siena. Enjoy some free time to wander the winding streets and shop for local pottery. Later arrive in the eternal city of Rome.

  • Day 16


    Your included sightseeing tour with a Local Expert begins at the Vatican Museums. Experience a Unique Insight in the Vatican when you ascend the smooth and step-less spiral staircase designed by famous architect Donato Bramante. Here you will view Michelangelo’s Renaissance masterpiece, the Pietà. View the Roman Forum and see the Colosseum, site of ancient gladiatorial contests and public events. Spend time this afternoon visiting the sights of your choice. This evening, join your travelling companions and Travel Director for a Farewell Dinner in a local restaurant.
