  • Description: Your African adventure is full of contrasts: from multicultural Cape Town to the wine estates of Stellenbosch; from whale watching in Hermanus to the ‘Big 5’ in Kruger National Park. It’s insider moments like… speaking to children in a Cape Town township, seeing how the Amy Biehl Foundation is working to make a difference to their future. Stopping at the gates that Nelson Mandela walked through to freedom in 1990. Out in the bush, getting close to a cheetah like Pedro, one of the hand-raised cats who help raise awareness of the plight of these majestic animals – fewer than 1,000 survive in South Africa today. Driving out at dawn, it’s the anticipation of spotting the ‘Big 5’ at Kruger National Park.
