On every itinerary, we offer a range of optional excursions that allow you to further enhance your experience should you so choose. These are purchased when you are on your trip, via your Trafalgar Travel Director. Depending on the region visited these can be paid with cash or credit card.

  • CAPPADOCIA

    • + PERFORMANCE OF WHIRLING DERVISHES IN CAPPADOCIA The 'dance' of the Whirling Dervishes is called 'Sema'. Sema is a part of the inspiration of Mevlana, as well as part of Turkish custom, history, beliefs and culture.

  • ISTANBUL

    • + ISTANBUL BY NIGHT Take part in the entertainment and night life at one of the finest nightclubs of the city. Depart by motor coach and take a short drive through the illuminated streets of Istanbul before you arrive at the Kervansaray Night Club, a well-known Istanbul establishment. Enjoy a variety of Turkish specialties while you are entertained by Turkish musicians, belly dancers and folk dancers, performing dances from different regions of Turkey. At the end of the show, join in, as familiar and favourite songs are sung.

    • + HALF DAY BOSPHORUS CRUISE No stay should be completed without this traditional and unforgettable cruise by boat along the Bosphorus, the winding strait separating Europe and Asia. Along the shores is a delightful mixture of the modern hotels, ancient wooden villas, palaces of marble, fortress and small fishing villages.

  • ANTALYA

    • + OLD TOWN WITH YACHT CRUISE Antalya Old Town, 'Kaleici', is the picturesque old quarter in the centre of present day Antalya. With its narrow winding streets and historic wooden houses, bars, restaurants and Ottoman style buildings, it's a lovely place to visit. Your expert local guide will show you the imposing Hadrian's Gate, dating from 130AD when the Roman Emperor visited the city. End the experience with a yacht cruise to the waterfall at Duden.
