Day 2
LOS ANGELES SIGHTSEEING
As the sun rises over Los Angeles, head to the hills for a view of the famed Hollywood sign. Take a stroll down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills or down the Walk of Fame and see Grauman's Chinese Theater, which opened in 1927 and has been home to hundreds of premieres and three Academy Award ceremonies. Speaking of the Academy Awards, visit the Kodak Theater, current home of the Oscars. This afternoon, enjoy a VIP behind-the-scenes tour of Warner Bros. Studios and discover the sets of countless films and TV productions.

LOS ANGELES - PALM SPRINGS (2 NIGHTS)
Visit Coachella Valley today and learn about the local agriculture. Enjoy a visit to a date farm and taste the Local Speciality. Then hit the road inland to the desert oasis of Palm Springs. Board the Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, the world's largest rotating gondola, for a ride up the mountain offering you spectacular views of the winter valley below. Tonight, delight in a special Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant atop Mt. San Jacinto.

Day 4
JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK & PALM SPRINGS SIGHTSEEING
This morning, as you venture to Joshua Tree National Park, you may see a dusting of snow on the cacti and desert floor. Previously a U.S. National Monument, it was deemed a National Park in 1994 and covers an area slightly larger than the state of Rhode Island. The park includes parts of two deserts, the Mojave and the Colorado, and a designated wilderness area. The afternoon is yours to explore Palm Springs. Browse Main Street's many unique shops and restaurants or visit a local museum. If you're feeling adventurous, grab a jacket and head out for a hike in the nearby San Jacinto Mountains or enjoy a round of golf on one of Palm Springs more than twenty-five golf courses.

PALM SPRINGS - SCOTTSDALE
Bid farewell to Palm Springs and cross the Colorado River into the state of Arizona. Continue towards Scottsdale where you'll enjoy a Unique Insight during a guided tour of Taliesin West, the winter home of famed American architect Frank Lloyd Wright. Later, explore Scottsdale, “The West's most western town,” which prides itself on delectable Southwestern restaurants, shops and art galleries.

SCOTTSDALE - SEDONA - GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK
Travel to the artist's enclave of Sedona. Step aboard a narrated trolley tour and see the best of Sedona as you learn about its past and present offerings. Visit the historic sites and landmarks while taking in the beauty of this red-rock landscape. Then depart for Oak Creek Canyon—gaze at the red cliffs and crystal pools below. Travel north to the Grand Canyon. Upon arrival, meet with a Local Expert who will walk you through the geologic life of the canyon—you'll become a rock expert yourself as you examine the multi-coloured rocks from different eras of the canyon's formation. Gather this evening to watch the sunset and the fading light gilding the canyon and casting enchanting shadows.

GRAND CANYON NATIONAL PARK - LAS VEGAS (2 NIGHTS)
Fred Grofe, the famed American composer, was so stunned by the spectacular beauty of the sunrise over the Grand Canyon that he composed his Grand Canyon Suite in 1931. But all you have to do is watch—and maybe whistle—in amazement as the skies glow and brighten with the coming day. Make your way to the historic town of Seligman, a famous stop on Route 66. Next, journey from the rocks and vistas to the lights and glitter of Las Vegas. LAS VEGAS FREE TIME
The day is yours and the choices are endless: hit the casinos, do some shopping and maybe dine at one of the elegant restaurants that have put Vegas on the culinary map. Take an optional tour to marvel at the engineering feat that is Hoover Dam, or for the adventure-seekers, soar over the natural wonders of the Grand Canyon to walk on the breathtaking glass Sky Walk overlooking the West Rim. Exhausted by the possibilities? Enjoy some down time at the hotel's pool or visit a spa for a rejuvenating massage.

LAS VEGAS - DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
Make your way from Las Vegas to Death Valley National Park, named for its extreme temperatures. During the summer months, temperatures can climb upwards of 120 °F, frequently the hottest spot in the United States. In the park you will see a variety of terrain from the cracked earth known as Bad Water to the colourful Artist's Palette and the delicate sand dunes. This evening, hop on a hayride under the stars which takes you to a barbecue Highlight Dinner.

DEATH VALLEY NATIONAL PARK - BAKERSFIELD
Continue exploring Death Valley as you head to Bakersfield; stop at Manzanar National Historic Site, a Unique Insight into one of ten camps where Japanese-Americans and Japanese immigrants were forced to relocate during World War II. Tonight, you are in for a real treat with a visit to the Buck Owens Crystal Palace for a Highlight Dinner and show at a country music performance hall home to the Buck Owens Museum.

BAKERSFIELD - PASO ROBLES - MONTEREY

SAN FRANCISCO SIGHTSEEING
Wake in the City by the Bay and enjoy a morning to explore on your own. This afternoon, take a Unique Insight into the city during a visit to the cable car museum then enjoy an educational outing at the California Academy of Sciences, which houses the natural history museum, planetarium, aquarium and rainforest dome. This evening, toast your travelling companions during a festive Farewell Dinner.

DEPART SAN FRANCISCO
Your journey comes to an end with a complimentary transfer to San Francisco International Airport.
