Wonderful France 2014

  • Duration: 9 Days
  • Rating: Read Reviews
  • Brochure: Europe & Britain 2014
  • Style: Regional
  • Description: The best of both worlds, France's capital Paris meets its capital of cool, St-Tropez, on this chic retreat. Even the journey shows you two worlds, from the slow scenic drive to the high-speed TGV. It's Insider moments like… relaxing with an aperitif in hand on your host's terrace in Provence. As lamb roasts on a wood-fired oven, the Marie family tell you about the food and wine you are about to enjoy, and their friends treat you to a rendition of traditional Galoubet-Tambourin music. All before hearing the history of their Auberge – the stables have been in the family for four generations, but thankfully the horses have now made way for this friendly, rustic restaurant.
