Day 2
PARIS SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Admire the sights of this elegant city with your Local Guide, including views of the Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Eiffel Tower. Spend free time afterwards soaking up the atmosphere with a walk along the banks of the Seine or see priceless works of art in the Louvre. Tonight, don’t miss the opportunity to go to a famous Parisian cabaret!

Day 3
PARIS - BEAUNE - GENEVA (2 NIGHTS)
Head south past the vast Forest of Fontainebleau, former hunting ground of the French kings. Visit the medieval town of Beaune, the wine capital of the Burgundy region. Cross into Switzerland and arrive later at the international city of Geneva, which lies at the western end of Lake Léman.

Day 4
GENEVA ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME
Enjoy an orientation tour of this beautiful city, including the Reformation Monument, the unique Jet d’Eau and the United Nations building. Afterwards spend free time exploring on your own. Perhaps take a stroll by the lake and admire the modern sculptures.

Day 5
GENEVA - CANNES- NICE (2 NIGHTS)
Drive south past Grenoble, a university city and a renowned winter sports resort. Continue through the impressive landscape leading from the Alps to the Côte d’Azur. Admire the beautiful resort of Cannes, home of the renowned annual Film Festival. Continue to Nice, where orientation includes the Promenade des Anglais and the Place Masséna.

Day 6
NICE FREE TIME
Nice is one of the jewels of the French Riviera, and has always been a favourite with the rich and famous! Discover the Old Town, shop in hip boutiques or simply relax on the beach.

Day 7
NICE - PERFUMERY VISIT - MONACO - PISA - MONTECATINI
Visit Fragonard Perfumery and learn about the history and techniques of the French perfume industry. Then on to the Principality of Monaco, which has been ruled by the Grimaldi family since the 13th century. Walk through the Old Town and view the Royal Palace – home to the Grimaldi family – and the cathedral, where Princess Grace and her husband Prince Rainier are buried. Continue along the coast into Italy, past the port of Genoa to Pisa, where you view the famous Leaning Tower. Your day ends in the Tuscan spa town of Montecatini, where you dine tonight at your hotel.

MONTECATINI - FLORENCE - VENICE (2 NIGHTS)
A short drive through rolling countryside brings you to the Renaissance city of Florence. Enjoy spectacular views of the city from Piazzale Michelangelo and spend time on your own exploring Piazza Signoria, the Duomo and Giotto’s Bell Tower. Don’t forget to shop for high quality leather goods and 18-carat gold jewellery! Arrive later in the magical city of Venice for your two-night stay.

Day 9
VENICE ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME
Admire the splendours of this Byzantine city as you cruise by private launch to St. Mark’s Square. View the Bridge of Sighs and the magnificent Basilica of St. Mark. Watch the Venetian craftsmen at work creating local specialities at a glass–blowing workshop on Giudecca Island. Afterwards, explore on your own or perhaps take a cruise to one of the islands for lunch.

VENICE - ROME (2 NIGHTS)
Cross the Veneto plain via Bologna and drive over the Apennine Mountains. Continue through Tuscany, Umbria and Lazio to Rome, the Eternal City!

Day 11
ROME SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Your Local Guide takes you on a tour of St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican city, where you view Michelangelo’s masterpiece, the Pietà. Your wonderful sightseeing tour continues across the River Tiber in ancient Rome, with views of the Forum and the Colosseum. Spend free time seeing more sights such as the Sistine Chapel, or relax at a pavement café on the Via Veneto.
Day 12
DEPART ROME
This morning say ‘arrivederci’ to your travelling companions and your Travel Director at the end of a memorable European holiday. Transfers are available to Rome Fiumicino Airport. Conditions apply.
