    Cross the Loibl Pass in the Karawanken Mountains to the green hills of Slovenia. Arrive later in Lake Bled, an earthly paradise and your home for the next two nights. A beautiful glacial lake in the Julian Alps, Lake Bled is a picturesque and serene escape set amid forests and mountains. There is time this afternoon to explore the medieval castle or take a boat ride on the lake. Dine tonight at your hotel.

    Across the border in Hungary, pause for photos on the shores of Lake Balaton, the largest lake in Central Europe and known affectionately by locals as the ‘Hungarian Sea’. Continue to the capital Budapest on the banks of the romantic River Danube for your two-night stay.

    KRAKOW SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME

    View the Royal Castle and Cathedral on Wawel Hill during a sightseeing tour with your Local Guide. Your walking tour through the Old Town includes a visit to the Cloth Hall and the Mariacki Church. Spend the afternoon relaxing or exploring. Consider an optional excursion to the unique Wieliczka Salt Mine, where underground chambers are hewn out of rock salt! This evening, perhaps sample some lively Polish entertainment with dinner.

    KRAKOW - AUSCHWITZ - CZESTOCHOWA - WARSAW (2 NIGHTS)

    Visit the concentration camp at Auschwitz, a permanent reminder of the horrors perpetrated during the Holocaust. Afterwards, visit Jasna Gora Monastery, Poland’s most famous shrine to the Virgin Mary featuring the iconic Black Madonna of Czestochowa. Finish the day in Warsaw, where you dine tonight at your hotel.
