It's Insider moments like… taking a walk through Edinburgh Castle with a local character, no doubt dressed in the obligatory tartan. You'll go behind the castle's much-seen scenes, substituting the obvious for the obscure on this one-of-a-kind walk. Just the start of your castle encounters, Dunrobin, Eilean Donan, Glamis and Stirling castles appear on the horizon as you travel from highlands to lochs and along the Whisky Trail, dipping into a history of smugglers, Scottish kings and scotch – and into Glenlivet for a tasting.

    • + Rosslyn Chapel We drive out of Edinburgh to the tiny village of Rosslyn, where we have a tour of the famous Rosslyn Chapel. Visit one of Scotland's most unusual 15th century buildings, famed for its associations with the Knights Templar, the Masonic movement, and now 'The Da Vinci Code'. Intricate carvings of New World plants, and secret chambers make this a must on any visit to Scotland. Afterwards there is the opportunity to visit the chapel shop before returning to Edinburgh.

    • + Royal Yacht Britannia This magnificent ship has played host to some of the most famous people in the world. But, above all, Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family. For four royal couples, Britannia was to provide a honeymoon sanctuary before the onset of married life in the world's most photographed family. Now berthed in Leith, you are welcomed on board to discover the heart and soul of this most special of royal residences.

    • + Dinner And Ghost Walk Work up an appetite discovering some of Edinburghs most haunted places listening our local ghost expert tell ghoulish tales before enjoying a 3 course meal in a local restaurant.

    • + Scottish Show With Dinner Tonight is a chance to put on that tartan and join us for an evening of singing, dancing and bagpipe playing at an Internationally famous venue. There is food, wine and a great atmosphere. Join in with the singing, well show you a Highland dance or two and there's a chance to sample Scotlands national dish - haggis. Its a grand night and a wonderful way to celebrate an evening in Edinburgh.

    • + Dinner Evening Enjoy dinner in a country pub in the charming village of Cawdor, home to Shakespeares Macbeth.

    • + Isle Of Skye Drive With The Trotternish Peninsula An opportunity to travel around the Trotternish Peninsula with a local guide. Hear about the way of life on this remote inner Hebridean island with its stories and legends. On this tour of the 'Isle of Mist' you will see the Old Man of Storr, the red and black Cuillin mountains and Kilt rock. This is an opportunity not to be missed.

    • + Jacobite Steam Railway Take one of the worlds most spectacular steam train rides across the Glenfinnan viaduct, featured in the Harry Potter movies. Enjoy beautiful coastal and mountain scenery on this once in a lifetime journey.

  • GLASGOW

    • + Glasgow Evening Join your Travel Director for an evening of good food and enjoyment. One drink included.

  • LOCH LOMOND

    • + Loch Lomond Boat Trip Discover the wild beauty of the 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. As we cruise across the loch the skipper will tell you stories and point out Rob Roy's cave as you relax and savour the stunning scenery. It really is a photographer's paradise! (N.B: The boats are covered launches and will operate subject to suitable weather conditions.)
