Home to one of Britain’s oldest covered shopping arcades, built in 1827, Argyll Arcade has a large selection of jewellery shops – 32 in total. De Courcy's Antique Craft Arcade has a mix of antique, craft shops and designer homeware boutiques.
There is also a good selection of cafes and bistros in and around the city's West End. Be sure to look out for good deals on Scotch whisky, tartans and shortbread.
