What to see in Seville?

1. Plaza de Espana: On of the top attractions in Seville, the park is steeped in history and contains two museums; the Museum of Arts and Traditions of Seville dedicated to showcasing the best traditional Spanish crafts, and the Archaeological Museum that exhibits Roman, Greek and pre-historic artefacts.
2. Alcazar: Originally a Moorish fortress in the 11th Century, it has gone through many renovations by subsequent Christian rulers – most notably Pedro I of Castile, commonly known as Pedro the Cruel, whose haunting presence is still felt throughout the palace.
3. Giralda Bell Tower: An iconic symbol of Seville and one of the rarest architectural styles in the world. The Moorish minaret on which it is based is one of only three remaining Almohad towers and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
4. Cathedral of Seville: The largest Gothic Cathedral and third largest church in the world; it is one of the most remarkable things to see in Seville.
5. Museo Provincial de Bellas Artes: A beautiful old convent displaying one of the largest and most important collections of Spanish art.
