Optionals

On every itinerary, we offer a range of optional excursions that allow you to further enhance your experience should you so choose. These are purchased when you are on your trip, via your Trafalgar Travel Director. Depending on the region visited these can be paid with cash or credit card.

  • + NORTH WALES EXCURSION Travel deeper into Wales! Our excursion to Wales takes us to Llangollen the home of the International Music Eisteddfod. All around us are wonderful sights and sounds - the River Dee, steam trains at the Victorian railway station, horse drawn barges along the canal, a myriad of flowers on the river bank. Listen out for the local people speaking the sing-song Welsh language. We then travel through the magnificent Valley of the Cross, past the slate mines and up to the Horseshoe Pass to enjoy views of the Welsh hills.

  • + SCOTTISH SHOW WITH DINNER Tonight is a chance to put on that tartan and join us for an evening of singing, dancing and bagpipe playing at an Internationally famous venue. There is food, wine and a great atmosphere. Join in with the singing, we'll show you a Highland dance or two and there's a chance to sample Scotland's national dish - haggis. It's a grand night and a wonderful way to celebrate an evening in Edinburgh.
