On every itinerary, we offer a range of optional excursions that allow you to further enhance your experience should you so choose. These are purchased when you are on your trip, via your Trafalgar Travel Director. Depending on the region visited these can be paid with cash or credit card.

  • RIO DE JANERIO

    • + HALF DAY JEEP TOUR TO TIJUCA RAIN FOREST Take an open-top jeep ride through a section of the endangered Atlantic Rainforest. Stop for a walk past mountains, streams and waterfalls. Experience the breathtaking sights, sounds and smells of the rainforest. Light clothing, walking shoes and sunscreen are advised. Length: 4 hours (Min. 2 paxs)

    • + GUANABARA BAY Two-hour schooner cruise along the coastline of Rio de Janeiro, passing by Flamengo, Botafogo and Urca Beaches, with views of Sugarloaf Mountain. Length: 3 hours (Min 8 pax)

  • BUENOS AIRES

    • + FULL DAY FIEST GUACHA SANTA SUSANA WITH BBQ LUNCH Drive out to Los Cardales and the Estancia Santa Susana, where the Gauchos welcome you with a drink. Visit the Estancia and learn about the daily life of the cultural symbols of Argentina. Savor a rustic barbecue or “asado” lunch, with a variety of meats and sausages. Afterward, enjoy a folkloric show. Length: 7 hours (Min. 10 paxs)

    • + HALF DAY TIGRE TOUR Drive through the northern district and outskirts of the city to get to Tigre, a charming resort where “portenos” (locals) spend their weekends. Enjoy a boat excursion along the channels of the Paraná-Delta. Length: 4.5 hours (Min. 10 paxs)

    • + TANGO LESSONS AT MANSION DANDI ROYAL Located at San Telmo, the Tango's birthplace, Mansion Dandi Royal is a unique art nouveaux residence decorated with murals portraying Tango scenes and original objects d'art. Take a group lesson. Length: 1.5 hours (Min. 5 paxs)
