    • + PLYMOUTH HARBOUR CRUISE A boat trip round the harbour of one of England's most famous seaports. View the Mayflower steps, where the Pilgrim Fathers set sail for America, and ships sailed for Australia, New Zealand and Newfoundland. See panoramic vistas of Plymouth Hoe, site of Drake's legendary game of bowls. Into the Royal Navy Dockyard and a chance to see some of the modern vessels of the Royal Navy. A commentary is given by the skipper.

    • + DARTMOOR EXCURSION AND DINNER A scenic drive across the mysterious moors takes us to the capital of the moors, Princetown. Here we see the infamous prison before driving to a lovely old Inn for a drink and a delicious homecooked dinner, followed by stories and legends about the area. We then head back to Plymouth.

    • + FORGOTTEN CORNWALL AND DINNER Leaving the hotel we head down to the oldest part of Plymouth, 'Stonehouse'. Here we leave the coach and take a 7 minute ferry ride across the River Tamar to Cornwall and the village of Cremyll. Dinner tonight is in the old Cornish inn, the Edgcumbe Arms, situated 25 yards from the ferry pier. Enjoy a meal, with a main course from the Carvery. After dinner we will rejoin our touring coach to take a drive along the beautiful coast known as 'Rame Head', for stunning views, before returning to Plymouth via the Torpoint car ferry.

  • CARDIFF

    • + CARDIFF WELSH BANQUET This is the ideal opportunity to sample the culture of Wales in its music and food. During this highly entertaining evening the wine will flow, we will dine on distinctive Welsh dishes, be charmed by the lovely sounds of the Welsh harp and enchanted by the beautiful voices of the castle's lords and ladies. Wales really is the land of song!

    • + CARDIFF CASTLE TOUR Take an 'insider' look at this unique Castle started by the Romans 2000 years ago where we have our own private tour. The refurbishments done in the 1800s have been described as outrageous to opulent, bogus to brilliant and some even say the architect, William Burgess smoked his opium pipe too much! His influences include Arab and Islamic art, Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales and even Aesop's fables. In addition, we can walk on the battlements and climb the 1000 year old Norman keep for superb views over Cardiff.

  • WINDERMERE

    • + WINDERMERE CRUISE AND STEAM TRAIN RIDE A chance to view the glorious scenery of the lake district as we cruise across England's largest lake. Then step back in time as we board the steam train for a short journey from Lakeside to Haverthwaite.

  • LOCH LOMOND

    • + LOCH LOMOND BOAT TRIP Discover the wild beauty of the 'Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond'. As we cruise across the loch the skipper will tell you stories and point out Rob Roy's cave as you relax and savour the stunning scenery. It really is a photographer's paradise! (NB. (Weather permitting).

It's a grand night and a wonderful way to celebrate an evening in Edinburgh.
