NEW YORK CITY AT LEISURE
The day is yours at leisure to take on the city as you please. Enjoy a long walk in beautiful Central Park, head to Fifth Avenue for some of the city's best shopping, visit the moving 9-11 Memorial, or just explore the bustling streets soaking up the atmosphere. Tonight, finish your New York adventure with a Your Choice Dining experience, where you can sate your appetite at your choice of one of four stylish Manhattan eateries.

NEW YORK CITY - LANCASTER COUNTY - BEDFORD (2 NIGHTS)
Travel through the green landscapes of Pennsylvania as you make your way to Amish Country in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. View the verdant fields and clapboard farmhouses before stopping at the Kitchen Kettle Village, a shopping village with 32 unique stores. BEDFORD AT LEISURE
Today is at leisure for you to enjoy the serene atmosphere of the scenic Cumberland Valley. Relax or take advantage of the resorts many optional activities such as hiking, biking or fly-fishing. This afternoon, delight in a cooking demonstration by one of the hotel's expert chefs complete with a tasting of the delicious creations.

BEDFORD - GETTYSBURG - WASHINGTON, D.C. (3 NIGHTS)
Bid farewell to Bedford and continue to the historical site of Gettysburg. Join your Local Guide for a tour at the site of one of the Civil War's most pivotal battles. The events at Gettysburg—where General George Meade's Army of the Potomac defeated Robert E. Lee's Army of Northern Virginia—turned the tide in the Civil War. Just four months after the historic struggle, the battlefield was the backdrop for Abraham Lincoln's call for “a new birth of freedom” in his famed Gettysburg Address. WASHINGTON, D.C. SIGHTSEEING & AT LEISURE
Today, immerse yourself in the proud heritage of a nation as you view the White House, the striking Washington Monument and the sprawling National Mall with a Local Guide on a Small Group Sightseeing tour. Reflect on the country's most turbulent days at the Lincoln Memorial and the somber World War II memorial. Visit the Library of Congress for a Unique Insight, the book collection of Thomas Jefferson. In 1814 Jefferson offered to sell his book collection to the Library of Congress after the British burned Congress and the nation’s Capital. His was the largest private collection at the time, and was purchased for $23,950 in 1815. Today, only a third of the original 6,487 volumes remain after a second fire to the Library in 1851. Enjoy the evening at leisure.

WASHINGTON, D.C. SIGHTSEEING
Rise for a second day of discoveries in Washington, D.C. Visit Arlington National Cemetery and learn about the final resting place of the nation's heroes. Pay tribute to those who dedicated their lives to the American ideals at the Tomb of the Unknowns, the Women in Military Memorial and the Kennedy gravesites. This afternoon is at leisure to chart your own course through America's capital city—visit one of the Smithsonian Institution's renowned museums or stroll around Dupont Circle neighbourhood, designed by Pierre Charles L'Enfant just after the Civil War. This evening, a special Farewell Dinner awaits you and your travel companions—the perfect ending to your time together.
