    • + Notre Dame And Latin Quarter We begin by visiting the cornerstone of Gothic architecture in France built in 1163, the magnificent cathedral that lies at the heart of Paris, Notre Dame. Then with our Local Guide explore the Latin Quarter. Enjoy some free time to have a bite to eat in the Latin Quarter, or perhaps try the famous Berthillon ice-cream - the best in France!

    • + Nouvelle Eve Cabaret And Dinner Dinner with wine included at one of the most prestigious cabaret shows in town! Enjoy an evening of exciting acts, stunning tableaux and wonderful entertainment - including, of course, the world famous Can-Can. A Parisian night that you will never forget!

    • + Seine Cruise And Paris By Night Paris at night is a city transformed. Enjoy this superb 'city of light' as we take a leisurely cruise on the popular river boats under the bridges of Paris, admiring the wonderful buildings which adorn the banks of the River Seine. Afterwards, as we drive through this amazing city, we stop at some vantage points for you to capture these fascinating sights on camera. (In summer, this trip may take place before sunset).

  • LUCERNE

    • + Folklore Evening And Dinner Tonight we shall enjoy a tasty Swiss meal (one of the courses will be the famous Swiss cheese fondue) in a typical restaurant. Whilst you enjoy dinner, join in the fun of a lively folklore show which includes yodelling, flag-throwing, Alpine horn-blowing and many other customary Swiss entertainment. Two drinks are included.

    • + Mount Pilatus And Lake Cruise A series of cable cars will take us gradually up through the fields and forests to the summit of Lucerne's most well-known mountain. Here you have time to explore, admire the many sweeping views, and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Then we board the cog-wheel train to the base of the mountain. (On certain departures the ascent and descent will be by cable car only.) On our return trip we enjoy a scenic lake cruise. (On certain departures this optional may be operated in reverse, with the cruise first.)

    • + Swiss Heritage A chance to meet the Swiss, as local farmers take us on a delightful countryside tour in horse drawn carriages. Enjoy stunning scenery as we trot around a typical rural community, en route to a working farm where local drinks and snacks will be served.

  • ROME

    • + Introduction To Rome And Piazza Navona Cameras at the ready for the many magnificent sights awaiting us as we 'do as the Romans do' and take an evening 'passegiata', or evening stroll. With our licensed Local Guide we will discover the many delights that Rome has to offer. These can only be truly appreciated by wandering slowly through the labyrinth of narrow streets and beautiful squares which have developed over many centuries, creating an amazing legacy for us today like the Pantheon, and Piazza Navona, with its lively cafes.

    • + Ostia Antica Drive to the Mediterranean coast and visit the excavations of Ancient Ostia, the former harbour of Rome. These ruins offer perhaps a more complete picture of Roman urban life than either Rome or Pompeii. See the remains of the baths, theatre, apartment houses, drinking room, mosaics and wall paintings at this beautiful site, mirrored by cypress trees and umbrella pines.

    • + Roman Dinner With Live Musical Entertainment An evening of great entertainment and fun. A delicious Italian meal, including wine and soft drinks, is served while you are treated to a wonderful music in a unique setting.

    • + Vatican Museums And Colosseum An extension to the included sightseeing tour which allows us to admire the artistic masterpieces collected and commissioned by the Popes and displayed in the Vatican Museums. See the famous Tapestry Gallery and Gallery of Maps then finally wonder at the masterpieces in the Sistine Chapel. Take your time - Michelangelo spent 11 years in the preparation of the vault and altar wall!  Later we will enjoy an  interior visit of the Colosseum, scene of many gladiatorial combats.

  • FLORENCE

    • + Michelangelo s David And Renaissance Highlight Our guided tour begins with the Academy of Fine Arts with its Michelangelo collection including the world famous statue of David. The statue established its creator as the leading sculptor of his day and ensured continued patronage for him by the Medici rulers of the city republic. We continue to the Duomo with its dome by Brunelleschi, Bell Tower by Giotto and the Paradise Doors of the Baptistry by Ghiberti. Finally we arrive in the political centre of Florence, Signoria Square.

  • VENICE

    • + Venetian Magic An unforgettable introduction to this unique and magical city! We cruise along the Grand Canal by private water taxi, admiring the magnificent and elegant palazzos. We see the Rialto Bridge and then reach 'the most beautiful outdoor drawing room in the world', St Mark's Square. Later during your Gondola Ride, you will glide along the picturesque smaller canals while a duo of musicians entertains.
