    Welcome to London! Meet your fellow travellers and Travel Director before enjoying a scenic drive through Cambridgeshire. On arrival in Cambridge, a Local Guide will take you on a walking tour to see some of the famous colleges that make up the University as well as the picturesque River Cam. This evening enjoy a Welcome Reception with your fellow travellers and Travel Director in a local pub.

  • Day 4


    This morning travel to Ely where a highlight of your visit will be a guided tour of the magnificent Ely Cathedral recognised as one of the Seven Medieval Wonders of the World. Then on to Lincolnshire and stop to visit the impressive and historical Lincoln Cathedral. A guide will take you through the Cathedral which is regarded by some to be the most precious piece of architecture in the British Isles. You will have free time here to enjoy a relaxed lunch and explore some of the city. Later travel through the magnificent Peak District National Park. Enjoy scenic views of steep limestone dales, rolling hills and moorland as well as dry stone walls. Dine tonight at your hotel in the scenic Peak District town of Buxton.

    Enjoy a drive through stunning scenery in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Celebrate the spirit of Christmas with a guided tour of magnificent Chatsworth House, which is magically transformed for the festive season. Admire the grand halls and rooms bedecked with exquisite lights and decorations, and see a wonderful display inspired by classic Christmas carols. Enjoy a delicious twocourse Highlight Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. This afternoon will take you to Tideswell where you will visit a famous cookery school and learn how to make a special Christmas delicacy at a unique cooking demonstration. Sample some of the locally produced cheese with specially selected wine before returning to your hotel in Buxton for a relaxed evening.

    Stop in Stoke-on-Trent for a visit to the Wedgwood Fine Bone China Factory. Enjoy a Local Speciality demonstration on the manufacture of this beautiful porcelain. Later indulge in a delicious traditional English Cream Tea. This afternoon travel to Stratford-upon-Avon. Visit the house where William Shakespeare was born and raised. See Anne Hathaway’s cottage where she lived before marrying the Bard. Enjoy free time for sightseeing and Christmas shopping.

    This morning drive to the beautiful city of Bath to admire the superb Georgian architecture on your orientation of the main sights. Visit the Roman Baths, renowned for their hot mineral springs. This afternoon enjoy free time for exploring this Georgian city. This evening join your companions for a drive to the picturesque National Trust village of Lacock where you will enjoy a Farewell Dinner in a traditional English pub.

  • Day 8


    Visit Blenheim Palace for a truly magical Christmas experience. Estate-grown Christmas trees sparkle in the Great Court and sumptuous decorations adorn the State Rooms and splendid halls. See the Palace and its courtyards turned into a winter wonderland, with glowing fires providing a warm welcome. Wreaths and miniature trees add to the traditional Christmas atmosphere in the Great Hall and Long Library. Stop in Royal Windsor with time to enjoy a walk along the Thames or the chance to visit inside the royal castle. Later return to London where your scenic and magical Christmas adventure comes to an end.
