  • Description: Rome's savagery, Venice's decadence and Florence's romance – this family trip introduces the different characters of Italy, with three nights in three diverse cities. It's Insider moments like… feeling the heavy weight of the sword in your hand, as a Gladiator teaches you and your children age-old combat skills at Gladiator training school. And listening to the gruesome history of battles and bloodshed in ancient Rome, almost hearing the roar of the crowd as you and your family enter the ring. And it's imagining the heat of the sun beating down on those who trained before you, as they battled for their lives against tigers, lions and the fearsome weapons of their fellow slaves.
