Day 3
MADRID - UBEDA - BAEZA - GRANADA
Travel south, across the plains of La Mancha, and stop at Puerto Lápice to visit the inn where legendary Don Quixote received his knighthood. Continue south into Andalucia to visit the UNESCO World Heritage town of Úbeda. View Vázquez de Molina Square, one of the best examples of Renaissance architecture in Spain. Explore the town on your own in your free time. This afternoon, visit a traditional hacienda to see how olive oil is produced and taste some for yourself! This evening sample the night life of Granada.

Day 4
GRANADA - MALAGA (2 NIGHTS)
This morning's panoramic tour includes views of the Cathedral and Plaza Nueva. Afterwards, there is time, subject to ticket availability, to join an optional visit to the magnificent Alhambra Palace and gardens. Arrive later on the famous Costa Del Sol, with time to lounge on the beach and swim in the sparkling Mediterranean.

Day 5
MALAGA ORIENTATION AND FREE TIME
Malaga is one of the oldest cities in the world. See the castle and cathedral during your orientation of the city, then enjoy free time to explore at your own pace. Visit the Picasso Museum, relax at the beach, or join an optional excursion to one of the famous hilltop villages, the choice is yours!

MALAGA - RONDA - ALBUFEIRA, ALGARVE (2 NIGHTS)
This morning, take a scenic drive to the hilltop town of Ronda for spectacular views of the Sierra de Ronda. Cross the Puente Nuevo, spanning the 120m deep chasm carrying the Guadalevín River, and see the famous bull-ring, one of the oldest in Spain. Cross the border to the Algarve, your home for the next two nights.

FREE DAY IN ALBUFEIRA, ALGARVE
Enjoy a whole day at leisure to do as you please. Relax on the beach or join an excursion to Faro, the historical capital of the Algarve.
Day 8
ALBUFEIRA - GRANDOLA - LISBON (2 NIGHTS)
Travel via Grândola, a small Alentejan town surrounded by cork trees and agriculture in the Setúbal district, and cross the River Tagus to Lisbon, the Portuguese capital and your home for the next two nights. Dine tonight at your hotel.

LISBON SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
See Lisbon's landmarks during your sightseeing tour with your Local Guide including the Monument to the Discoveries, the suspension bridge spanning the River Tagus, the Belem Tower and the quaint Alfama district. Later, in your free time, perhaps take an optional excursion to the historic towns of Cascais and Sintra.

LISBON - FATIMA - OPORTO
A scenic drive north through the magnificent Serra d'Aire Mountains brings you to the Shrine at Fatima, site of celebrated religious miracles. Traverse the Buçaco National Park to the city of Oporto located on the banks of the Douro River. See the Stock Exchange and the Church of St. Francis during your orientation of the city. SALAMANCA - MADRID
Your journey continues through the Sierra de Guadarrama Mountains to Madrid, Europe's highest capital city. Your Local Guide shows you the sights of Madrid including the Cibeles fountain, the Gran Via, Paseo de la Castellana and Puerta del Sol. See the monument to Cervantes in Plaza de España. Tonight consider spending the evening with your fellow travellers on the final night of your tour.
