ARRIVE DUBLIN AND SIGHTSEEING
Spend the morning relaxing or exploring this vibrant, friendly city. Meet your Travel Director and fellow travellers this afternoon and see Trinity College, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Phoenix Park and the stately Georgian Squares with your Local Guide. This evening, board your canal boat for a leisurely cruise along Dublin’s 200 year old Grand Canal; get to know your companions and Travel Director at an on-board Welcome Reception which includes a light evening meal and drinks.

Day 3
DUBLIN - CO. WICKLOW - NEW ROSS - WATERFORD
Travel through the lush countryside of County Wicklow – known as the Garden of Ireland. Then on through County Wexford before arriving in the town of New Ross. See the monument to John F. Kennedy who visited his ancestral family hometown 50 years ago in 1963. Visit the three-masted barque Dunbrody, and gain an Unique Insight into the tragic plight of Irish emigration during the 1800’s. This afternoon, visit the House of Waterford Crystal for a Local Speciality demonstration. Watch the master craftsmen at work during your tour of the workshop, and see the exquisite completed pieces in the showroom. Dine tonight at your hotel.

WATERFORD - YOUGHAL - BLARNEY - KILLARNEY (2 NIGHTS)
This morning, visit the historic seaport town of Youghal, once home to Sir Walter Raleigh. Visit Blarney Castle, kiss the Blarney Stone and acquire the ‘gift of the gab’ then travel through the colourful market town of Macroom and see the impressive Castle Arch, once the gateway to Macroom Castle it is now almost all that remains. Cross the Kerry Mountains to Killarney, your home for the next two nights.

Day 5
RING OF KERRY EXCURSION
Follow the Ring of Kerry around the Iveragh Peninsula, characterised by plunging cliffs, shimmering lakes, granite mountains and rugged coastlines. See a mystical and unspoilt region of Ireland as you wind your way through Killorglin (of Puck Fair fame), Cahirciveen, Waterville and Moll’s Gap in the Black Mountains.

KILLARNEY - CLIFFS OF MOHER - BUNRATTY - LIMERICK
Take the ferry across the River Shannon estuary to scenic County Clare. A picturesque coastal drive through the beautiful villages of Kilrush and Lahinch brings you to the Cliffs of Moher. See the history of the cliffs brought to life with a visit to the ‘Atlantic Edge’ exhibition. This afternoon visit Bunratty Castle and explore the Folk Park, a living museum dedicated to life in Ireland during the 18th and 19th centuries. In Limerick, view King John’s Castle, St. Mary’s Cathedral and the Treaty Stone during your orientation.
