    • + DINNER DRIVE TO HISTORIC TORPHICHEN Enjoy a scenic drive to the ancient village of Torphichen associated with Scottish kings and Knights Templars. At the haunted Torphichen Inn we will be welcomed by a piper and a drink and we will enjoy an excellent dinner of local specialities. After dinner the piper will entertain us in true Scottish style, Slainte Mhath!

    • + ROSSLYN CHAPEL We drive out of Edinburgh to the tiny village of Rosslyn, where we have a tour of the famous Rosslyn Chapel. Visit one of Scotland's most unusual 15th century buildings, famed for its associations with the Knights Templar, the Masonic movement, and now 'The Da Vinci Code'. Intricate carvings of New World plants, and secret chambers make this a must on any visit to Scotland. Afterwards there is the opportunity to visit the chapel shop before returning to Edinburgh.

    • + ROYAL YACHT BRITANNIA This magnificent ship has played host to some of the most famous people in the world. But, above all, Britannia was home to Her Majesty The Queen and the Royal Family. For four royal couples, Britannia was to provide a honeymoon sanctuary before the onset of married life in the world's most photographed family. Now berthed in Leith, you are welcomed on board to discover the heart and soul of this most special of royal residences.

    • + DINNER EVENING Join your traveling companions for dinner in an exciting local restaurant. A drink is included.

    • + NORTH WALES EXCURSION Out of England and into Wales! Our excursion to Wales takes us to Llangollen the home of the International Music Eisteddfod. All around us are wonderful sights and sounds - the River Dee, steam trains at the Victorian railway station, a myriad of flowers on the river bank. Listen out for the local people speaking the sing-song Welsh language. We then travel through the magnificent Valley of the Cross, past the slate mines and up to the Horseshoe Pass to enjoy views of the Welsh hills.

    • + PRIVATE CRUISE ON LAKE WINDERMERE Enjoy an exclusive cruise on a private boat on England's most beautiful lake taking in the northern coastline, many beautiful houses and gardens and Wray Castle. We also see deserted islands, boats, birdlife and have a chance to breath in the local air and appreciate the area so loved by Beatrix Potter and William Wordsworth. A photographers' paradise.

    • + WARWICK CASTLE This excursion allows you to explore the 'jewel in the crown' of England's great medieval castles. You will visit the magnificent State Apartments, be amazed by the incredibly life-like Madame Tussauds wax-works as you explore the 'Kingmaker Exhibition' and 'Royal Weekend House Party'; and (if you're feeling adventurous) climb Guy's and Caesar's Towers for panoramic views out over the Warwickshire countryside before descending into the grim Gaol with it's 'oubliette'. You may even get to see the firing of the greatest of all medieval siege weapons, the Trebuchet. (NB. 'The Castle Dungeon' is a separate experience, at an additional fee, and is not included).
