  • Description: This leisurely trail winds through the Emerald Isle, from Dublin's 16th century botanical gardens to the utterly remote Dingle Peninsula, the country's westernmost point. It's Insider moments like… tucking into homemade Kerry Lamb Stew and soaking up its rich gravy with bread fresh from the oven. You eat by the glow of an oil lamp and to the smell of turf burning in the open fires at Quills Farmhouse. And you join Andrew to learn the secrets of traditional Irish cooking. With views over the lakes of Killarney, you chat to farmers going about their business. You are transported back to 1930s Ireland: a time before electricity had reached the countryside and when a trip to the well was a daily chore.
