Day 3
PARIS SIGHTSEEING AND FREE TIME
Your expert Local Guide takes you on an informative sightseeing tour. See the Champs Élysées, Arc de Triomphe, Place de la Concorde and Notre Dame Cathedral on the Île de la Cité. Enjoy views of the Paris skyline from the second level of the Eiffel Tower. The rest of the day is free for you to explore.
Day 4
PARIS - TGV TRAIN - PONT DU GARD - AVIGNON
Take the impressive and fast TGV train through the heart of France, past Auxerre and the sprawling vineyards of Burgundy to the Rhône Valley. In the afternoon, see the UNESCO World Heritage Roman aquaduct Pont du Gard before continuing on to Avignon. Later, your orientation of Avignon includes views of the impressive Palace of the Popes and the ruined bridge straddling the River Rhône, which inspired the famous French song, 'sur le pont d’Avignon'. Dine tonight at your hotel.

Day 5
AVIGNON - ARLES - AIX-EN-PROVENCE
This morning a scenic drive brings you to Arles – one time home of Vincent Van Gogh. Marvel at the Roman Amphitheatre and Romanesque cathedral during your sightseeing and walking tour of Arles with an expert Local Guide. Then travel through the Provençal countryside and the southern part of the Luberon to your memorable Be My Guest lunch in a beautiful 'bastide' set among the vineyards. Later, a short drive brings you to the elegant city of Aix-en-Provence, where an orientation highlights the Cours Mirabeau with all its wonderful shops and cafes.

Day 6
AIX-EN-PROVENCE - ST TROPEZ - CANNES - NICE (2 NIGHTS)
Traverse scenic hills to the coast and the glitzy resort of St. Tropez. The playground of the rich and famous, St. Tropez is where Brigitte Bardot was 'discovered'. Here you will enjoy some free time. Continue by road to Cannes - the jewel in the Côte d'Azur - and see the Film Festival Centre on the sophisticated Boulevard de la Croisette. Your orientation of Nice includes a drive along Promenade des Anglais, views of Place Masséna, the Old Town and the port. This evening, join your companions for a delicious Highlight Dinner of local specialities at one of the city's many bustling restaurants.

Day 7
NICE - FREE TIME AND MONACO EXCURSION
Spend the morning relaxing. Take a leisurely stroll along the promenade, relax on the beach or shop in chic boutiques. Later, a scenic drive brings you to the Principality of Monaco, where you see the Palace of the ruling Grimaldi family and the cathedral where the late Princess Grace and Prince Rainier were married.

NICE - ROUTE NAPOLEON - LYON
Drive along part of the scenic Route Napoleon inland and travel via Manosque and the Durance Valley to the town of Sisteron. Take the alpine route along the Col de la Croix to Lyon, France's second largest city. Standing at the confluence of the Rhône and Saône rivers, Lyon is known as one of the greatest gastronomic cities in the world.

LYON - BEAUNE - PARIS
Journey via the vineyards of Macon and Beaune to Paris. Stop in Beaune where there is plenty of time to shop for souvenirs. Here you will also enjoy a Local Speciality wine tasting of the delicious wine produced from the region. Tonight, celebrate with your Travel Director and newfound friends at a special Farewell Dinner.
