    LONDON – STONEHENGE – SALISBURY – BIDEFORD

    This morning, travel to rural Wiltshire and visit the mystical ancient monoliths at Stonehenge on Salisbury Plain. Visit Salisbury Cathedral to see the Magna Carta which was signed in 1215 by King John and the barons of Medieval England. 2015 marks the 800th anniversary of the founding of this important document. Later, arrive at the historic seaport of Bideford. This evening, get to know your companions and Travel Director at a Welcome Reception including a light evening meal with drinks.

    BIDEFORD – TINTAGEL – POLPERRO – PLYMOUTH (2 NIGHTS)

    Drive along the north Cornish coast to enjoy views of the ruined Tintagel Castle which is steeped in mystery and legend. It is said to be the birthplace of King Arthur. Travel through Bodmin en route to Polperro, a picturesque old fishing village with its narrow streets, lanes and cottages dotted around the small harbour. This afternoon enjoy a Be My Guest Cornish Cream Tea on a local farm with spectacular views over the nearby meadows. Arrive later in Plymouth where tonight you have free time to explore this maritime city.

    CORNISH EXCURSION

    This morning, perhaps take an optional cruise around famous Plymouth harbour before setting off to explore Cornwall. The Cornish coast is famous for smugglers' coves and quaint villages which you will see on the way to St. Ives, a popular resort with artists and tourists. Enjoy views of St. Michael's Mount near Penzance. Cross Bodmin Moor, dominated by dramatic granite tors on your way back to Plymouth. Tonight, why not join an optional experience dinner at a nearby traditional pub.

    PLYMOUTH – BUCKFAST ABBEY – CHEDDAR GORGE – BRISTOL (2 NIGHTS)

    Visit Buckfast Abbey and gain a Cultural Insight into the role of the Abbotts who have lived here for almost 1000 years. Inside the Abbey Church explore the chapels and admire the craftsmanship of the stained glass and stonework, or enjoy a leisurely stroll through the gardens. A scenic drive through beautiful countryside brings you to the spectacular limestone landscape of Cheddar Gorge en route to Bristol. Your orientation includes views of the Clifton Suspension Bridge and Brunel's SS Great Britain, the world's first ocean-going, propeller driven, iron ship.

    BATH EXCURSION

    This morning a short drive will bring you to the Georgian town of Bath. See the beautiful Pulteney Bridge spanning the River Avon and view the impressive Abbey, founded in 1499. Visit the Roman Baths, from which the city takes its name, and see the hot thermal pool of the ‘Great Bath'. Enjoy free time to explore the city at your own pace. Why not stroll around the impressive Royal Crescent, a masterpiece of Georgian architecture, or visit the Jane Austen museum. Later, arrive back in Bristol where you have free time to explore the historic city. This evening join your companions for a Farewell Dinner.

    BRISTOL – LACOCK – WINDSOR – LONDON

    Drive to the picturesque town of Lacock, with its honey colored stone cottages and 15th century inns. The village was used as the movie location for 'Pride & Prejudice' and 'Harry Potter' amongst others. Stop in Royal Windsor with time to explore the quaint town before returning to London.

    Adult Price: £34.00 A scenic drive across the mysterious moors takes us to the capital of the moors, Princetown. Here you’ll see the infamous prison before driving to a lovely old Inn for a drink and a delicious home-cooked dinner, followed by stories and legends about the area.
  • Forgotten Cornwall And Dinner

    Adult Price: £30.00 Join us as we catch a ferry across the River Tamar to Cornwall and the village of Cremyll. Tonight you’ll enjoy dinner at an old Cornish inn, the Edgcumbe Arms, with a main course from the Carvery.
