It's Insider moments like… having tea and a tour with the owners of historic home Shenandoah to views of the Tasman Sea, getting up close to their friendly Highland cattle and unique collection of Harley Davidson bikes. Floating on an underground river beneath a glittering ceiling of glow worms – famous residents in the grotto at Waitomo Caves, along with albino cave ants, giant crickets and an endless forest of stalactites. Stopping roadside to sample new varieties of lush stone fruit at local legend, Mrs Jones' Orchard.
