For this price more food expenses could be covered. Purchaser that wants to arrive early ( a day) should be able to have more/different options if hotels are over booked.
Every year my travels to Europe with Trafalgar are only getting better. My Greek tour director Lisa was outstanding! She let us vote as a group when it came to prefrences and was quick at resolving fairly our concerns. She had wonderful enthusiasm and high knowledge about Greek history, culture and customs. She was highly aware of our environment and advocated for us when it came to our safety. We were given plenty of time at each site for photos and down time. All local food was tasty and most hotels were quiet enough to get peaceful sleep.
Excellent were the UK and Greece airport transfers; on time, efficient and very courteous. Very good was the itinerary; we hit all the major mainland sites in the 8 days. Hotels were good (rather than excellent) but their buffets dinners hardly 4 star standard. Tour director could have been more focused and conveyed information more succinctly. Local guides seemed to be below the standard being provided to other tour groups encountered at the various sites. The tour of the Delphi site & museum was very rushed - 10 minutes free time was totally inadequate. The Olympia tour was much better paced in this regard. We were taken aback to be the only guests from the British Isles, While this did not trouble us at all, it probably would be a drawback to a number of potential UK travellers.
