Yes. Interesting and good value at this price point. The farm visit showing us how pepper and vanilla is grown was particularly interesting as was the presentation by the 96 year old Quaker man who immigrated from the US in the late 40's. Laguna Lodge in Tortuguera was charming but dining room food was marginal in quality. Tortuguero sightseeing excellent and a highlight.
The experience was well planned and executed with many interesting and sometimes surprise elements. Accommodations were often rustic but blended in with the area. Our young Costa Rican tour manager was knowledgeable and energetic.
Yes very much So! Well organized , everything on time , great accommodation, very informative field trips, and a tour guide that was par excellence , and a driver that that was more than capable , very safe driving. Overall a 5 Star!
