Wonderful tour and guide
No way around not having it be a long day.
Read allKatie was a wonderful tour guide. She was always upbeat and caring. She made my wife and I feel special as well as the whole group.

Over all very satisfied.
Amazing scenery on the Great Ocean Road. Loved learning the history. Phillip Island was just a wonderful trip start to finish. Very informative and loved seeing Wallaby and Penguins in natural habitat.
Read allI would recommend Trafalgar. The hotel was exceptional. Easy to walk out for dinner and sightseeing. The tours were on time and very informative. We were a bit disappointed that we did not see many birds going through the rain forest but the scenery was incredible. Enjoyed the Great Barrier Reef and the Tjapukai Park immensely.

Spectacular views though no chance to explore Otway Forest a bit
Just the lack of opportunity to explore Otway Forest a bit.
Read allTour guides were great and bus was very comfortable. Only aspect that was unexpected was fending for ourselves for lunch at Port Campbell. On a tour in 2005 with another company elsewhere (Blue Mountains), a really nice buffet lunch at a nice place in a small town, and also a stop for snacks served with champagne was part of the package. (But perhaps the size of Port Campbell and time of year were factors. We were in Blue Mountains in late November.) I also thought we would have a chance to get off and explore the Otway Forest a bit rather than just driving through it. But the sights were all spectacular. The Loch Ard Gorge especially was much more spectacular than I expected. The volcanic (very distant) past of Colac area was also fascinating news to this geology buff who hadn't known about that aspect of Australia's geologic history.

See above as Adrian was our driver for this & was awesome.
Read allBasically it came down to our driver for two of the tours. I believe Adrian was our driver for both tours in Melbourne. He was very fun and nice. He even took time to get to know a lot of us on the bus. He also spent some time with my group and gave a lot tips for us to do as we drove to Sydney on our own, and not one of those disappointed.
