Discover travel’s original local experience
Local travel experiences you won’t find anywhere else

There are no second chances when you travel. Choose travel’s most immersive experience for food lovers, history buffs, families and everyone in-between. Our Be My Guest story began in 2009 in the home of the Esposito sisters in Sorrento, Italy, who welcomed our guests into their home over a homecooked meal and limoncello. You will connect with locals as you taste produce direct from source, uncover a piece of history in châteaux, ryokans, farms and castles and meet the characters who bring these places to life. Be My Guest experiences are exclusive to us and are available on every trip each a one-of-a-kind experience.

Villa Il Leccio
  • The name ‘Villa Il Leccio’ comes from the centuries-old oak trees (‘leccio’ in Italian) on the property.

  • Located in the peaceful hills of Chianti, Villa Il Leccio is only 15 kilometres from Florence.

  • The building was originally a medieval tower house before being converted to a country residence.

Set against the backdrop of oak trees and olive groves, Villa Il Leccio is a slice of heaven in the Tuscan hills. On our exclusive Be My Guest experience, guests will enjoy a guided tour through the wine cellars, picturesque gardens and ancient villa (where the family still lives) with the chance to sample the Landi’s homemade extra-virgin olive oil and Chianti wines.
