Northern Spain

The north of Spain is home to pretty seaside villages, rugged coves and the Picos de Europa mountain range. In Bilbao, you’ll wander round the acclaimed Guggenheim art museum before moving on to Santander, San Sebastian and Santiago de Compostela, host to hundreds of pilgrims each and every day. There, you’ll have the opportunity to spend a night in a sandstone Renaissance palace, used as the headquarters of Napoleon's army during the Peninsular war, or visit a cider mill near Oviedo for a tasting.
