Uncover Athens’s Ruins and a Night at Sea
Travel to the heart of ancient Athens, back to a time of philosophers and great thinkers. Join a Local Specialist to marvel at the ancient Acropolis, see the Parthenon, dedicated to the goddess Athena, and view the stadium where the first modern Olympic Games took place in 1896. We cross the Corinth Canal that connects the Gulf of Corinth with the Saronic Gulf in the Aegean Sea and board our overnight ferry in Patras en route to Italy.

Treasure Lucerne’s Sights
The lakeside setting of Lucerne is ours to explore today. Pay tribute to the brave Swiss Guard at the Lion Monument and admire the wooden Chapel Bridge with its exquisite ceiling. Spend the rest of the day ambling through the medieval streets with their characteristic painted façades, or perhaps embark on an Optional Experience up one of the surrounding peaks.
We cross into France and traverse the rolling Burgundy vineyards en route to the glittering capital of Paris. The 'City of Lights' shines brightly tonight as you explore the grand boulevards on your terms. Enjoy dinner at a cosy bistro or consider attending a colourful Parisian Cabaret performance.

Explore Magical Paris

We had a skilled and very helpful driver ( Eduardo *personal information removed by Feefo*) and a Tour Director that went above and beyond in every way, Rhi *personal information removed by Feefo* was exceptional. The tour went so smoothly, the hole 29 days. I hope to have them onboard my next Trafalgar tour. I loved every part of my tour, from day 1 to day 29.
Amazing experience, from Day 1 to Day 29 was simply wonderful, ************* our Tour Director was totally professional and made our experience even better. Her passionate nature and eye for detail was exceptional. No request was to large, Rhianne went above and beyond to make our experience the best it could possibly be. Our coach driver Eduardo was exceptional and very friendly. Both Rhianne and Eduardo are an asset to Trafalgar and we can't thank them enough for making our trip the success it was. We would highly recommend this tour to all who are interested in really getting the best out of a European Trip.
The European Supremewas a wonderful experience, so happy that I went on this tour. This was my fourth tour with Trafalgar and this tour was the best by far. The tour director Rhi Smith was so helpful and a wonderful guide. Rhi had so much knowledge on the history of the regions that we visited. I would like to thank Rhi for making this trip such a wonderful experience. Our driver Claudio was also great, felt very safe travelling with him, 5hank you Claudio. Imthink that tis tour should be on everyones to do list.
Well organised and run trip. Tour director Evana was very helpful and knowledgeable wherever we went. The bus drivers (Antonio and Francisco) were excellent and very skilled drivers.
Bastille Day is a national holiday in France. Celebrations will be taking place throughout Paris on 14 July.
