The Strater Hotel is a local landmark in Durango. Built in 1887 by a pharmacist, who was sure the mining town would prosper, his dreams never quite came to pass and it became a refuge for locals in winter. You’ll be delighted to see it now houses the world’s largest collection of American Victorian antiques.
