Janine , Jul 2014

An encounter with rarely visited Tibet, to meet locals and see the UNESCO-designated Potala Palace, adds a unique twist to seeing China's famous sights and relaxing on a Yangtze cruise.

It's Insider moments like… experiencing China and Tibet through the eyes of locals, as they take you inside their home cities, whether it's listening to tales of Tiananmen Square in Beijing; or in Shanghai where they stroll with you along The Bund, Shanghai's waterfront promenade; or at the Great Wall, where you learn its past as you walk on history. And it's meeting our expert in Tibet who introduces you to a family they know in Lhasa, who invite you to experience their life in this mysterious region.
