"I enjoyed every minute"
William , Jul 2014

This diminutive country has a surprising abundance of castles, cities and culture, all sewn into a patchwork of brooding highlands and undisturbed islands, like Orkney, Skye and Mull.

It's Insider moments like… experiencing the historic settings of Diane Gabaldon's best-selling Outlander books. Clashing swords and ferocious battle cries almost palpable, you stand on the atmospheric fields of Culloden hearing about this devastating battle – the last fought on British soil.
