"Great people and exciting places"
Christopher , Jul 2014

This nicely paced journey gives you glow worms, geysers and Maori culture in New Zealand; in Australia the Great Barrier Reef, Melbourne's local secrets, the Sydney Opera House and Aboriginal art.

It's Insider moments like… meeting the locals of Tuhourangi/Ngati Wahiao and seeing how the villagers use the hot springs around them for cooking. It's feeling the ground shake beneath the haka war dance, and sharing an earth-oven cooked Hangi meal with your Maori hosts. In Melbourne you'll explore eccentric corners of the hidden laneways, while in Cairns the Aboriginal people treat you to a cultural feast of music, dance and art – and you learn the symbolism of paintings while decorating your own boomerang.
