Day 1 | Sun 25 June Auckland –Vancouver (2 Nights)

A warm welcome from Trafalgar Staff and your Escort at 5.30pm as we meet at the Air New Zealand check in counter at Auckland International Airport prior to boarding Air New Zealand flight NZ24 departing at 8pm to Vancouver. On arrival Vancouver at 2.00pm, you will be transferred to your hotel where we will stay for the next two nights

Day 2 | Mon 26 June Vancouver At Leisure

Your day is at leisure. Time to explore the waterfront, historic Gastown, Granville Island with its vibrant markets. Or maybe take a ride up Grouse Mountain for incredible views of this beautiful city. This afternoon your Travel Director is in the hotel and can answer any questions you may have about the exciting days ahead. At 6pm, we gather in the hotel with the Travel Director and fellow travelling companions for a welcome reception.

Day 3 | Tue 27 June Vancouver – Victoria (2 Nights) Set out for Stanley Park and explore

Set out for Stanley Park and explore historic Chinatown and Gastown. Travel by ferry to Vancouver Island and visit a familyowned winery and taste the perfectlybalanced vintages. Indulge in a Be My Guest lunch featuring local cuisine paired with their wines. Later, arrive in quaint Victoria.

Day 4 | Wed 28 June Victoria Sightseeing And Free Time

Greet the day with breakfast at Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre showcase of gorgeous floral gardens. Meet with a representative who can answer questions and then spend some time exploring. Back in Victoria, enjoy a guided city tour. This evening, dinner is up to you with a selection of restaurants for your choice dining.

Day 5 | Thu 29 June Victoria – Chemainus - Squamish – Whistler (2 Nights)

Set out for Chemainus, famous for its outdoor murals. Return to the mainland by ferry and drive along the scenic Seato-Sky Highway. Board the Sea-to-Sky Gondola and ride all the way to Summit Lodge, enjoying sweeping views. This afternoon, arrive in Whistler.

Day 6 | Fri 30 June Whistler Sightseeing And Free Time

Start the morning with a guided walking tour led by a Local Specialist. Learn about the history of the resort during the 2010 Winter Olympics. Next, step into a fascinating world where ancient ways meet modern life at the Squamish Lil’wat Cultural Centre. Your Local Specialist, an authentic First Nations ambassador, will greet you with a warm welcome in traditional song. This afternoon is free.

Day 7 | Sat 01 July Whistler – Historic Ranching Country - Sun Peaks

Leaving Whistler, continue toward the thriving ski resort of Sun Peaks and enjoy an interpretive walk before your Regional Meal dinner. After, a Local Specialist will regale you with tales of voyageurs and the fur trapping industry.

Day 8 | Sun 02 July Sun Peaks - Rocky Mountain National Park - Banff (2 Nights)

Sample the best of the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel through Mount Revelstoke and Glacier National Parks, cross the Columbia River and Yoho National Park. Arrive at your mountain resort in Banff National Park for a relaxing stay. Enjoy drinks and a Local Specialist presentation where you will learn about the Royal Canadian Mounted Police from a real life “Mountie.”

Day 9 | Mon 03 July Banff Sightseeing And Free Time

Immerse yourself in the glories of Banff, including Surprise Corner, Bow Falls and hoodoo rock formations. Enjoy a free afternoon before setting off for Boundary Ranch where your hosts, the Guinn family, welcome you for a scenic Be My Guest experience and dinner.

Day 10 | Tue 04 July Banff – Lake Louise – Jasper (2 Nights)

Arrive on the shores of Lake Louise with a short lakeside talk. Enjoy a unique adventure at the Columbia Icefield where you climb aboard an Ice Explorer and drive on the massive Athabasca Glacier. Later this afternoon, arrive at your hotel in the heart of Jasper National Park. Join your fellow travellers for a “Farewell to the Rockies” Dinner. After dinner, enjoy a presentation about the area’s history and wildlife with a Local Specialist.

Day 11 | Wed 05 July Jasper Sightseeing And Free Time

Enjoy an interpretive walk at Maligne Canyon. Then, embark on a narrated cruise across Maligne Lake. Stop at Spirit Island before returning to Jasper where the rest of the day is free.

Day 12 | Thu 06 July Jasper - Kamloops

A sensational two day journey on-board the Rocky Mountaineer with a night in Kamloops. Your train journey through Canada’s stunning Rocky Mountains begins as you head west to Vancouver.

Day 13 | Fri 07 July Kamloops - Vancouver

Continue your journey by rail and witness the unparalleled beauty of the highest peaks in the Canadian Rockies and the stunning and remote vistas of Canada’s west. This evening, back in Vancouver enjoy dinner together.

Day 14 | Sat 08 July Vancouver - Inside Passage Cruise (7 Nights)

Enjoy the day on your own until you are transferred to Canada Place where your cruise begins with the Inside Passage.

Day 15 | Sun 09 July Cruise The Inside Passage

With most of Southeast Alaska accessible only by boat or plane, cruise the Inside Passage for a unique view.

Day 16 | Mon 10 July Cruise Tracy Arm And Juneau

The dramatic Sawyer Glaciers at the end of Tracy Arm are framed by mountains and bathed in the blue hue of the ice. Arrive in Juneau, where you can shop downtown, kayak, dogsled, raft, or flightsee.

Day 17 | Tue 11 July Skagway, Alaska

Step into the town’s colourful past at the Klondike Gold Rush National Historical Park.

Day 18 | Wed 12 July Cruise Glacier Bay, Alaska

From the comfort of your ship, enjoy pristine wilderness of Glacier Bay National Park.

Day 19 | Thu 13 July Ketchikan

While ashore, check out the world’s largest collection of standing totem poles or an optional guided tour through town or a harbour cruise.

Today is a day of relaxation as you cruise back to Vancouver.

Sail into Vancouver Harbour this morning. After disembarking, take your transfer to the hotel for a final night in Vancouver. (

Day 22 | Sun 16 July Vancouver - Auckland

A last chance to take in sightseeing and shopping! Perhaps enjoy a walk along the waterfront and in Stanley Park. And for the best views, ascend the Look-out in the Harbour Centre Tower. Later transfer to the airport in good time for your 8pm departure on Air New Zealand flight NZ23 to Auckland.


Day 23 | Mon 17 July In The Air

En-route to Auckland, cross the international dateline.


Day 24 | Tue 18 July Arrive Auckland

Arrive Auckland at 5.00am.
